Part of the reason the GM post has been so slowly coming is that I've just been struggling with my internet the past week. I don't know what happened, it's just fallen off a cliff and there are times where it's just a constant disconnect-connect cycle.

Also

That awful feeling when you have a neat idea for a character but you don't like him any more than your other characters.

@Shark: call your IP, it's their *job* to find out for you. It may not be a problem on your end.

As for characters, just try each for a while, see how you like them.

There's a little alarm on my computer telling me it's the four year anniversary of Justice Avengers tomorrow, and I've got nothing to celebrate the occasion!

Well, I do have one idea, I suppose. It involves me reading through the entirety of Hub City, and then having another crack at GM-ing the turkey.

Don't worry Lizard we'll come up with some way to celebrate!

He's playing an alternate version of Dick Grayson who took up the identity of the Riddler in another RP where all the P Cs are alternate universe versions of established canon characters. I'm playing Mega Man from a crossover universe of DC and Capcom in the same RP.

Jesus. Four years. We've run longer than most recent Marvel comics by now.

A STAGE IN A BAR SOMEWHERE

Announcer: "AAAND now, Ladies and Gentlemen, let's meet that Master of Comedy, El Sijo from Puerto Rico!!"

(50-year old man walks onstage: crowd cheers) [2]

Sijo: "Thank you, everybody! Let's get right into it!"

"You know Descartes, the philosopher? Well, one time he was at a party. Then a servant asked him if he wanted more snacks. 'I do not think-' he began to say- and then he CEASED TO EXIST!!"

-*crickets chirp* [3]

Sijo: "Hmmm... not the intellectual sort, are you? OK, how about an edgy joke? I can do edgy! A skeleton walks into a bar. The barkeeps says, 'what do you want?' and the skeleton says, "A beer. Then after a beat adds, "And a mop!"

-*audience grumbles*

-"Woo, tough crowd! Ok, here it is: my BEST joke! Two racing horses are chatting. One says to the other: 'Hey, last race, I felt a sting on my rear.' The other one responds, "Me too!" A dog by their side rolls his eyes and says, 'You idiots, you were doped!' The horses stare at each other in shock and both exclaim:

"A talking dog!?"

-*Audience BOOS!* [4]

Sijo: "Err, yeah, Thanks, you have been a wonderful audience! Goodnight!" (Mic drop) [5]

(rotten tomatoes fly. Sijo runs offstage. )

Hey gang, my new game has begun! [1]

Howdy fellows.

So, approximately a dozen things I was putting off came up and started being a problem all at once, this is why you don't procrastinate kids, and I've solved about ... a third of one problem, half of another, and I'm dealing with the rest, meaning I finally feel like my head is above water again. Good to see you all again.

I should be back about sunday for the New York thread if you are all still willing to have me, the person lending me their computer needs it for most of tomorrow or I'd return then instead. I'll catch up on the thread once I get the laptop back late tomorrow but if anyone wants to give me a quick summary of what I missed that would be helpful as well.

Anyway, how's everyone doing? Who is still around?

It's OK, Lucky, glad to still have you around! Cannot give you a summary right now, but I will later if someone else doesn't. Oh and we just reached our FOURTH YEAR milestone of playing Justice Avengers!!

That's okay, a side one was pretty much what I was thinking of. The best that bouncer would get at his angle.

Now there's a good question. Where should Stark be? Should I drop him down anywhere? Demovere, you had control of him last, right?

Yeah; I was intending to place him back in Stark Tower (not at the manor), still doing his coping mechanism of making more armor. Did you still want me to keep control of him and JARVIS for the time being?

Also, a correction: Access and company went to the manor, not Stark Tower.

I liked Demo's Stark and wouldn't mind it sticking around.

(Especially if it meant giving Liz time to get Hub City back on track.)

Aw shucks, you're making me blush. Admittedly though, I don't intend on keeping control of Tony for too long - just long enough to do some story-related things with him.

Meanwhile, I guess I'll go back to reading Hub City. I'd have been doing so sooner, but there's been the great aunt of all heatwaves these past couple of days, which has sapped the ability of me and my computer to do anything at all.
