Hey Liz just wanted to kinda point out I made an application for the cosmic game 2 days ago and I'm still waiting to hear about it. I'm sorry I don't want to be annoying or anything just wanted to let you know before things got to far in that roleplay.

Okay, you guys prefer that I take Gwen out of this post? There can always be a dead puppy on the fridge to show up or something if that's the case.

The dream is pretty f*cked up on purpose, it didn't even need orrect grammar for the idea I wanted to pass.

So I've recently come across a barrel of free time.

Here's a crazy idea: how about if we *never* kill Gwen Stacy? OR her dad for that matter. I find death to be such a weak storytelling tool most of the time. (Besides, I hear Spider-Gwen is very popular right now, someone might want to play her some day.)

Actually, we set it up so it look like Gwen Stacy is going to get killed but ultimately she remains alive. Hell, we could set it up where the Joker basically forces Spiderman to go on a wild goose chase to rescue Gwen, only for Peter to found out that she's alive and well and Peter did all the work to find her for absolutely no real reason. Why? Joker is suffering a rare moment where he's bored of pulling this sorta shit on Batman.

An observation: when Big Bean was playing She-Hulk, I was under the impression that the differences between her and Jennifer were more because of a lowering of some of her social inhibitions, rather than a full-blown split personality like the Hulk. What helped that train of thought for me was that Bean had She-Hulk still refer to herself as 'Jennifer' when thinking or speaking to herself, and that Jennifer had full control over the transformation.

Also: Lizard, I wanted to ask if I could have some temporary control over Tony in New York. At this point, he's ingrained himself into Karen's story fairly deeply to just disappear all of a sudden, and I had an idea regarding finally trying to get Karen out of her mind-suggestion-induced funk. Just so you guys know, I'll try not to control Tony for too long - just to show that he's still around and that he's still sort-of relevant.

Speaking of which: Liver, when in the game is Queen's gala supposed to take place?

By all means! I trust your abilities and skill with character.

Hrmm... I'm probably gonna say no to both. Can't let too much story potential go at once, Spider-Gwen or no Spider-Gwen. But still, that does leave a bit of an emotional gap in your paragraph... (Snaps fingers) I've got it. What if you replace it with your typical self-loathing sequence, where imaginary versions of all his friends and loved ones hate him, fear him, and/or are dying or harmed because of him.

Then again, that's a bit extreme for how I originally viewed the symbiote. I thought of it more like a Hiver from Terry Pratchett's A Hat Full Of Sky. A formless entity with no real identity of its own, filled with all the memories and drives of hosts beforehand, driving each host to aggression, megalomania and eventually madness and death. One thing you could try is having Peter dream of being some savage alien animal or criminal that the black suit wrapped itself around before.

But don't let me force you into anything. Just leaving a couple of options.

Or maybe just make the Venom symbiote who enjoys negative emotions a bit too much and inducing all those visions and nightmares at once in order to gorge itself on the free buffet.

OK, so here's what I'll do. Venom will only be an empowering to the side everyone of us have that laughs of us when we mess up; the side that feasts on our guilts and irrational anger over it, after all, re-enacting our mistakes again, again and again or blaming someone else for them is a kind of venom that can destroy us. It promises power, it argues that it knows how to react to things in a realistic way, but ultimately destroys all trace of hapiness.

And considering no amount of suffering is enough to our dear Spidey, I'll just assume and handwave that if Gwen wasn't killed there was a time when his vigilante days actually made her break up with him. Very badly. As in, Joker pretending she was dead and Peter getting over his head concerning her safety bad.

When I talked with Beans on the subject, they treated She-Hulk and Jennifer as different personas, to the point where She-Hulk had an open animosity towards the fact that she couldn't be herself all the time, so I was working off that. If I've interpreted the character incorrectly, I apologize. :(

Although we could always ask Bean (I think? Not sure he goes for his P Ms anymore), the character is Sharknado's now, so I think it's up to him to decide what interpretation he goes for.

Noooooo, he wouldn't, because Wolverine has plans today. Namely the game day I've been planning for months, and it's kind of important that Logan is there, and I really don't need the new guy messing things up by playing GM.
