Part of my character's back story is that he is a orphan who became a street fighter for money. I was thinking I could introduce him running away from a gang he pissed off for refusing to take a fall. Is that okay?

That sounds okay. I may not be the GM, but I'm pretty sure that's acceptable. Just try to run into someone else.

That sounds fine. He can run into Kaizer, if you want.

Phoenix is in the same general area as Kaizer, so I will leave it up to you if he decides to get himself involved or if I bump into him or something like that.

As I've noted elsewhere: I will be out of town for the next three days (Thu., Fri., and a large chunk of Sat.) and unable to post.

No, not really. That's for both classes. Right now is just the day before lessons begin, so people are just wandering around and taking advantage of their last free day. Your character should take advantage of his as well.
