The smoke is supposed to be the "power" bit; it's not so much smoke and more of an aura of Magyk.

I think it works. Maybe not the best, but it certainly works.

As an MtG player, I can definitively say that Zur is an example of the trope, and I think the image conveys the trope pretty well. I'd say this a bit better than being merely in "Keep Until Better Image Suggested" territory, though there may be better out there.

Definitely keep unless we get a better image. It's pretty clear to me that the guy's insane, and that blue stuff reads pretty easily to me as some sort of etheric substance, or lightning.
The only reason I could think to pull it is if we got a picture showing the madness, the power, and the fact that the power is causing the madness.
...Maybe something from Soul Eater, but that's more of the inverted trope.
