It seems like it will be implemented for certain stages and not all of them.

Or maybe siliconera accidentally had that instead of what something more like Dead or Alive 4 and 5 where you ring out to another section of the stage, I don't know.

Moving stages I'm all for those are awesome, ring outs not so much.

Aside from the fact that it would make spammers bitch about being ringed out, I wouldn't mind.

The spammers wouldn't be ringed out though, they'd get almost instant ring outs because most of the spamming character are the type that rely on you being pushed into the wall but now the wall isn't there anymore and instead you go off a cliff.

Just be this is a boost to spammers not a bane to them :c

The english demo is out on Xbox live.

The PS 3 Demo will be out 1 PM Central Time.

So, anyone have any demo impressions they want to share?

I certainly liked it, and the graphics really do push the current Gen Hardware to their limits, for sure.

...Not really. I mean UNS 3 is a gorgeous game but it's not really a graphical power house. It's more a measure of style then strength.

While I don't think it's pushing my Ps3 to it's limits (like Far Cry 3 or Dishonored did) it certainly is using the hardware to the best it can.

Finished the demo.

Boy you could tell the guys who did Asuras Wrath made this game. Freaking crazy.

I don't remember Naruto ever being this badass.

Cyber Connect 2 loves to exaggerate the badassery of the characters.

The Ougi's from the old Ps2 ultimate Ninja games are proof of that.

So there was a misunderstanding between Namco Bandai, Cyber Connect 2, and the fans. They bought the Edo Kages , Ginkaku, Kinkaku, and the seven swordsmen (Minus Zabuza and Haku who are playable) we're playable instead of Boss Battles. Namco Bandai however did say due to fan backlash they might add the Edo Kages as DLC.

The swordsmen and Kages aren't playable? Damn, that really sucks.

I can understand the swordsmen not being playable, since besides zabuza, they didn't do much outside of anime filler.

That didn't stop them from making Tobi playable.

I don't mean to bitch, but I'd love if CC 2 went back to the pre-Storm style. There's something about this 3D gameplay that still doesn't sit well, and the Ougis were way more badass back in the day.

In fact, I'm inclined to think that free-roam 3D doesn't really work well with most fighting games, that was troublesome in the Budokai Tenkaichi series too... It's way too easy to avoid most long-distance attacks, and then developers add a few nearly unavoidable ones to make up for that (like those homing rushes we have on both the Tenkaichi and the Storm series), and 2D games have more room for deeper combos and attacks; just compare the Budokai series with Tenkaichi, and the Ultimate Ninja series with Ultimate Ninja Storm.

I know but after he does the meteor move like he did the manga. The story goes in its own direction.
