Anyways Here's Darude Sandstorm
Denero rubbed his temples.
"Ugh you guys are giving me a headache. Can I get like a sanwich or something?" This question seemed to be directed at Dave and Avrum.
The mechanical dragon had caught his attention.
"My you're quite the impressive one, aren't you? One of them Numbers I reckon."
The Meteor materialized beside 107.
This one reeks of space.
"Oh good. You're up. And you didn't try to take over me again. Progress." Denero deadpan'd.
He turned back to Marcus.
"Um...remind me again what our agreement was? It feels like half a year just went by."
GIVE ME YOUR FACE
The dragon spoke again, but this time, it was to Crystal. "It seems that I have come too soon. I shall wait until you have regained your calm before appearing again. I hope that when this happens, you will be more responsive."
As soon as finished talking, the dragon disappeared from the infirmary.

"First things first." Marcus said, turning to Avrum "You mentioned something about our friends being missing?"
"Yes." Avrum replied. "I'm afraid Jacques, Caramon, Daniel and Regulus are missing in action. We found Jacques's wheelchair at the sight where you all dueled Haine.
Marcus's eyes widened. In all the events following the duel, they had completely forgotten that several members of their team were mysteriously absent.
Whoever it was must have taken them while we where distracted duelling Haine.
"Gol'gar? Do you think you can trace their location?"
Not right now. I might be able to work something out with Freed, but it'll take at least a week.
"Very well." Marcus said. "In the mean time, there is something else I must attend to."
He stood up, standing before Denero. It was obvious that the boy's energy had returned just as strong as his own.
"When we fought against your parents, I made you a promise. I said that if you truly believed that my actions were offensive enough to start a war over, you could come at me with everything you have once the cult has been dealt with. Well the cult is dead and here I am."
he slipped on his duel disk. Activating it and raising it in both challenge and salute as a violet aura surrounded him.
Marcus and Gol'gar spoke as one
"Take your best shot."

Denero just chuckled. He got up and rubbed out his neck before giving Marcus a once over.
"I'm sorry Marky, but I'm gonna have to decline. I wasn't exactly in the best mindset when we made that deal. Plus with everything that just went down I think it's best to just let by gones be by gones."
His stomach growled.
"Now if you'll excuse me I have to go get a sandwich."
He started to head for the doorway.
Hey wait! Where are you going?!? You were challenged! I order you to stop!
"Sorry, I don't take orders from you anymore, buddy."
He non-chalantly waved goodbye to the group as he headed towards the cafeteria. The Meteor growled under his breath and followed after him.

Marcus raised his eyebrow as he grinned slightly.
He's learning.
"Actually." Marcus said. "I might go get a sandwich myself."

Outside the infirmary, lying upon the roof of one of the academy buildings. a masked man in a full body outfit calmly aimed the barrel of his sniper rifle.
Looking through the scope, he watched as the crosshairs lined up on the head of Avrum Rozen. A single shot from his rifle, and the headmasters brains would be spilling on the floor.
Feeling his pulse quicken with excitement, he raised his hand to a concealed earpiece.
"Target in sight. Orders?"
"We should eliminate the threat as soon as possible." Came a voice over the radio, stern and businesslike. "No sense waiting around."
"Of course." the sniper replied. he moved his finger to the trigger.
"Wait." Came a second voice. "Let's avoid rushing into things for the moment. We don't wan't to make the same mistake as Apophis. Let Ishmorne have his fun for now, it'll give us more time to prepare."
"As you wish." Replied the first voice.
Nodding in acknowledgement, the sniper moved the sight away from the headmaster. Sweeping over the faces of the young duellists. For a minute, his sight rested upon the face of Peter. Zooming in on the scope, the sniper carefully studied the young boys face. Taking in his eyes and the set of his jaw.
A soft chuckle came from his earpiece. The second speaker again.
"Well now Balthezar, may I presume you've located your patch?"
Beneath the mask, the snipers lips curled upwards into something that almost resembled a smile.
"Maybe." he said, his reply calm and expressionless.
"Most excellent!"
There was a sound of movement, the second speaker getting to his feet.
"Well then!" he said, clapping his hands and rubbing them together. "I'd best be off, have some business I must attend to. Mr Daindred I'll leave you in charge of the operation here. Please try not to disapoint me."
The words where gentle, kindly even. And yet they carried the unmistakable edge of a threat.
"Yes sir." replied the first speaker. Voice cold and proffesional.
As the sound of footsteps echoed away from the breifing room, the first speaker pressed a button on the intercom.
"Finish your observations then report back to me." He ordered.
His eyes swept over the briefing room, locking on a board on the wall. Lines and notes covered the board, strategies and counterstrategies that were constantly being formulated.
"We have work to do."
