x4 Yes, it was all extremely sad and cruel.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.^^There's stuff left, but not enough to get a full season out of, at least at the rate they were going
Year later thread bump.
I saw Survival of the Fittest today on the Blu Ray (after rewatching the rest of the series, of course). It's...pretty much a return to the more zanier parts of the series such as Secret Factory, such as with the "brain power sugar" plot point, the intelligent rodents and their war against the weasels and so on. Still, it was pretty amusing.
I noticed that the four fairies who appear are the same four who appeared and were named during Earth. Naturally, they fail to recognize the shrunken Mediator and seem to completely misremember how Earth went down (they still call the Mediator God, despite her giving the title to Nakata-san at the end of Earth. Also, Sir Christoper McFarlane forgot that he gave himself his name and title and attributes both to the Mediator.) Still, it was amusing to see them with normal proportions compared to the fairy bodies we see throughout the series.
I probably broke so many rules here.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Thanks for reminding me to get that BD stuff.
Oh really? For some reason, I was under the impression that they hadn't caught up to the novels yet. (Or that they did, but there still were some stories unadapted. Wee, out of order episodes)
...But yeah, that would be a pretty big snag. Sorry for my stupid.
