My character is Fiona Reddoch, a teacher at Wolverhampton Community High School.

Age: 27
Gender: Female
Appearance: Raven haired and of slender build, Fiona is an attractive but otherwise fairly average British woman. She tends towards gender neutral or men's clothing- she has no great affection for dresses or skirts. Instead, she will often be seen in business suits, preferring a tan suit with a black tie. In her casual life, she will on occasion wear something more feminine, but is very self-conscious about doing so.
Her dark brown eyes have a rather piercing gaze, and her expression is usually quite serious. Her body bears scars that speak of a violent past, but only in places that are generally not exposed to the world. She is not the most beautiful thing in the world, but as a decently attractive young woman teaching at a high school, she has a decent fanbase all the same.
Personality: Fiona is a serious woman, with very little patience for those she thinks are wasting her time. In personal and social matters, she is friendly, but quiet, verging on shy- in situations where she must interact with large groups, she tends to sit quietly, content to simply listen and look for an opportunity to politely get away. One on one, she can be quite expressive, however. Despite her timidness in public, she is quite stern with her students, and quite stubborn in her beliefs.
As a teacher, she teaches as her students allow- if you are a lazy, stupid student, she's quite happy to leave you to your own devices and let you fail. If you show promise, however, she will push you to go above and beyond. She's not the type to mother you- her idea of nurturing is giving you a challenge that you should be able to handle.
She isn't into having a relationship, having had some bad experiences along that line in the past.
Backstory: Born in Wolverhampton, Fiona went to college in the United States, getting her Doctorate of Philosophy at Princeton. After years of college, she has finally returned to her hometown for her first teaching job at Wolverhampton Community High School, as a psychology teacher. She has been teaching now since the beginning of the semester, and settling in to a town that she does not know quite like she used to. At some point in her past, she apparently obtained a natural Persona. There's going to be more of her backstory that I will add here as it comes to light in the RP.
She is also the killer that has been murdering people around town. Obviously, no one is yet aware of this.
Persona: Fiona's Persona was naturally obtained, by confronting her Shadow self and a side of herself that she had been repressing. Her Persona is Fenrir, the great wolf, and the power that it gives her is primarily physical attacks with the mighty beast's claws and fangs, and also ice magic.
Weapon of Choice: In combat, Fiona fights with a pair of clawed metal gauntlets, scratching and slashing with them much like her wolf Persona.

Hello everyone! Some of you may know me from across the board. Needless to say, I hope this catches on. My character will be the same one shown in the intro. However, I decided to have a bit of fun with the character sheet.
Scotland Yard Report #612
Suspect: Lawrence Decrux
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Appearance: Lawrence was last seen clad in a blue sweater vest, one in which he apparently bought from the school store. He was also seen wearing blue jeans. Despite evidence to the contrary, no blood splatters were seen on his clothing. Hair is blond, with green eyes. According to witnesses, he also was seen wearing an expensive watch and a pair of sunglasses in his pocket.
Psych Evaluation: After the death of his parents (Age 10) Lawrence was subjected to much psychological testing. Although initially traumatized by the events of Incident# 226 (See case file for more information.) Unusually, he has been shown to adapt rather well after the addition of therapy and medication. Is currently taking medicine for vertigo, an affliction which he only begin suffering from after Incident #226.
Lawrence has been shown to perform excellently at school, easily competing for top of the class with his fellow classmates. This has been consistent throughout his life, and the reason his foster parent's have put on record for adopting him. Known to have no problems socializing at school, with a large circle of friends. Some of these friends are also victims of the recent killing spree. See Incident Reports [REQUIRES HIGHER AUTHORITY TO VIEW] for more information.
The possibility that Lawrence is involved in these incidents is currently under investigation, although it should be noted the crime scene for his brother is unlike that of any of the other incidents.

Other notes: One of the witnesses was heard to say there was a mysterious "crow with 3 legs" following Lawrence. The crow was also noted to have an air of electricity around it. As crows are known to be rather unfriendly birds, and Lawrence currently has no pets, this is highly unusual if most likely not relevant.
Known victims with relationships to Lawrence: John Cruxley: Occasional Tennis rival. Known to be one of his best challenges.
Victor Collins: Close friend. Known to hang out frequently. Usually was the closet to Lawrence for the top of the class.
Adrian Hexley: Girlfriend.
Note: Lawrence was only publicly effected by Adrian's death. When questioned by the school newspaper he made the following statement: "I've been trying to stay strong for my classmates, but, well, the death of Adrian was too much to bear. I apologize. I have been assured that the police department and the Yard are working as hard as possible to find the killer, so this can all stop."
Current Status: Wanted for suspect of the murder of his brother, Greg, and possible association with the murder spree. Subject should be apprehended on sight. Deadly force authorized under the condition he have any sort of actual weapon.

Name: Jason Cedric Reinhardt
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Young, tall, and wiry, Jason tailors himself as a punk. His naturally red hair has been tied into many thin, long dreadlocks, his left ear has been pierced, and his right arm is covered in biker tattoos, starting from the shoulder and ending near the wrist. When at school, more often than not, he's breaking some minor form of school dress code.
Personality: Jason is a total thug and a delinquent who's just too cool for school, or so he'd have you believe. Though he makes a lot of tough talk and insists that he's a tough kid and a good fighter, Jason is generally rule-abiding and peaceful. His punkish demeanor is only a facade to disguise his insecurities about his sexuality and interests. He gets annoyed whenever he is referred by his middle name, Cedric.
Backstory: Jason was born and raised in Scotland. His mother was a native to the region and a hairdresser, and his father was an American citizen and a former member of the Hells Angels. Despite his father's past criminal record, Jason's childhood was normal and his father was genuinely supportive of the family. When Jason was around 12, the family moved to Wolverhampton and settled there, and his mother started her own hairdressing salon.
Tragically, his father vanished soon after his 18th birthday, and Jason was left alone with his mother. Not long after his father's disappearance, Jason began helping his mother around the salon. Eventually, his father's body was discovered, and Jason, disgusted by what he thought he was becoming, began to tailor himself after his father. He started dressing like a punk and began acting like a delinquent, and even befriended several small-time gang members. But he still continued helping his mother at the salon, and even became friends with some openly-gay students at Wolverhampton High School.
Persona: Jason's Persona is Fáfnir
◊, an ancient dragon of Norse legend who exhaled poison. Fáfnir as Jason's artificial Persona is really Winston Reinhardt, Jason's deceased father. Fáfnir grants Jason the power of electricity and gives him a resistance to physical attacks, but accentuates his body's natural weakness to ice and hypothermia.
Weapon of Choice: Jason prefers to use his father's golf club in combat, though he may fight unarmed.

Appearance: Black hair and brown eyes. 6 feet tall. Caucasian. He is handsome and built like a runner. He can usually be found wearing a pair of dress slacks along with a buttoned down shirt, as well as a black fedora. He wears a pair of glasses.
Personality: Nero is a nice young man, who usually takes himself a little too seriously. He has a strong sense of justice and desires to become the worlds greatest detective. He hates it when people make fun of his last name. He loves to read detectice novels. He aims to become strong enough to protect everyone, to find out who murdered his friend and parents, and to discover the secrets of the Dark World. Nero is bisexual and has a crush on Jason Reinhardt.
Backstory: Nero's father was a cop and when he was six his parents were shot and killed while driving to a restaurant on their anniversary. After their death Nero was raised by his Grandfather, Alexander Queen. When Nero became 15 he began offering his services as a private detective to people, with most of his customers being his classmates, although he has been hired by the police a couple of times. He is currently a student at Wolverhampton Community Highschool.
Two month ago Nero's closest friend, Michael Stone died.
Persona: Nero's persona is that of Siegfried. Siegfried makes Nero able to completely block all physical attacks, resistant to ice, and weak against wind. Siegfried grants Nero physical attacks, a few buffs, and passive abilities. Michael Stone, Nero's closest friend was recently killed. He is Nero's Persona.
Weapon: Nero carries a baseball bat to fight with, although he is a pretty good hand to hand fighter.

luckybreak, the only problem I have with your character sheet is the way your friend died. I know it's a big wall o' text, but I mention in the first post that all the characters died the same way- with no marks or any clear sign of death. I wouldn't nitpick, except since my character's the murderer, turning her into a kidnapper and torturer would be a pretty substantial change to her personality and motives.

Ok, here goes. I used Persona 3 names as the example of her Persona's techniques simply due to my knowledge of that particular entry making it easiest for me to use those names though I suppose I could change the technique names if you want me to.
Name: Andrea Ellis
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Appearance: Andrea is about 5'7" and weighs a solid 147 pounds. Her hair is black and flows down her back when she does not have it in a ponytail, which she usually does. Her eyes are a sparkling blue to compliment her light skin and dark hair. Physically she is pretty with a lithe figure that belies her physical strength. She typically wears a button up dress shirt and a long skirt.
Personality: Andrea is a calm woman who, despite her youth, considers herself world wary. She is rather cynical thanks to her guardian's imparting her view on life. She is pleasent enough when dealing with others but she takes care never to promise something she does not fully intend on following through on. She is more than willing to decieve people in order to advance her goals though she never actively brings harm upon others.
Backstory: Andrea was born in poverty and abandoned up by her parents. As a young girl growing up in an orphanage she learned firsthand the harshness of the world though she was still happy to have a roof over her head. When she was five she was adopted by a woman named Sarah Ellis. Sarah was a younger woman, being in her late twenties at the time, who was a writer.
Andrea, from that point on, was raised by Sarah in her small yet comfortable house. Sarah was a cynic who believed that all people lived selfishly and that one needed to live with defined goals in order to combat the loneliness and isolation such an insolated society brought. Andrea quickly accepted Sarah's view of society and has let those beliefs shape her. Recently she has lost her guardian and though she mourns the loss she chooses to live on. She is a senior at Wolverhampton High and has generally high marks thanks to the work ethic taught to her by Sarah.
Persona: Andrea's Persona is her former guardian Sarah Ellis who has manifested as the great greek goddess Athena. Athena grants Andrea some physical attacks like Zan-ei and Getsu-ei as well as enhancement techniques Tarukaja, Rakukaja, and Sukukaja.
Weapon of Choice: Andrea usually carries a knife holstered at her back except at school and she is rather proficient in its use as well as some martial arts training she took for self-defense.

Name: Damian Callaghan
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Damian is a fairly handsome young man, with spiked-up black hair and bright green eyes that possess a mischievous glint. He has a wiry, thin build, and he prefers leather jackets, combat boots, fingerless gloves, scuffed-up jeans and a Union Jack bandanna he wears like a headband. His good looks is a rather key factor to his own fanbase- which helps, considering his extra-curricular interests.
Personality: Damian is a hedonist by nature, and a bit of a jerk: cocky, aggressive, riddled with vices, and a shameless flirt. But despite all that, most would agree that Damian is the life of the party. He is the frontman (lead singer/guitarist) for a local band called The Red Letter Tuesdays. Damian loves music more than anything, paying homage to his favorite bands and hoping to become a famous rocker. Damian lives for the moment, and doesn't care about consequences.
Backstory: Hailing from Manchester, Damian was a rebellious person from the get-go: he seldom listened to his mum and dad and was always getting into trouble. Hoping that they could get Damian too occupied to get into trouble, they tried to get Damian a hobby with no success. However, Damian did get a hobby when he was 11: he won a guitar from some poor lad in a card game (Damian cheated) and began teaching himself to play. After learning the in's and out's of playing guitar, Damian used money from his 13th birthday to make pamphlets looking for bandmates. Eventually, Damian got a band together, calling themselves Troubled Youth.
However, Damian was forced to move when his dad got a new job. The band split up, and Damian moved to Wolverhampton, where Damian got to work with getting a new band set up, this time calling themselves The Red Letter Tuesdays. Soon, the band scored themselves a gig at a local pub.
But the drummer, Monty, didn't show up.
In a fit of rage, Damian trashed the drum kit and stormed out of the pub, screaming his head off and insulting Monty at the top of his lungs.
But Damian was soon quieted when the police found Monty's body.
Damian felt guilty for once, ashamed for thinking that Monty was too lazy to show up and bitter over disgracing his band by throwing a fit onstage. A replacement drummer was found after a moment of mourning, and Damian went back to his old ways, but even now something seems...off with Damian-like he's indulging himself to drive away the guilt.
Persona: Damian's Persona is Asmodeus
◊, a prince of Hell associated with lust. Asmodeus is really the band's old drummer, Monty. Asmodeus grants Damian power over fire, ice, and darkness, and makes him resistant to those elements, but also makes him vulnerable to light and wind.
Weapon of Choice: A baseball bat.

Lawrence shook his head as the world around him finally settled down. What... WAS that? he thought, bewildered. He pulled out his cell phone- 12:01 a.m. That doesn't make sense. I'm pretty sure it was almost midnight when everything... went weird, and I can't tell how long it was like that, but it sure as hell was longer than a minute! He shook his head. He’d been talking with his brother, seeing him again after so long, and something had happened... he’d passed out. Probably his vertigo acting up again. When he woke up, everything had gone.... weird.
The streets had suddenly become completely empty, and all the lights in buildings went out. Even his phone had stopped working. And hiding in the shadows were these... things. Bizarre, twisted creatures of some sort, black blob-like bodies with arms and masks for faces. They didn't have the best vision, seemingly- he kept his distance, and they mostly didn't seem to notice him. But at one point, he stumbled into their attention, and they lunged forward at ungodly speed.
He remembered the swing. He remembered flying backward from the impact. He remembered the pain... and then he remembered acting as though in a trance. Lifting up his hand, which was holding a red card... and then crushing it in his hand. And this crushing, done on instinct, without thinking, summoned a huge beast to defend him. “Persona”... the word that echoed through his mind. The name of the beast, he knew. The power that had protected him.
Where it came from, he had no idea. But apparently, it was his now. And he had no proof, no reason to believe it, but his gut was telling him that that... place, that other world that he'd ended up in, had something to do with the murders. With whoever killed Adrian. And if he ever made his way back there... he was going to find out what was going on.
Welcome to the world of Persona. This RP is like the other entries in the series- it takes the basic rules in the universe, and creates something new. Don't think of it as a Persona 3 or 4 (or 2 or 1) RP, because it differs greatly from any of those. But the basic concepts are here.
The players are residents of Wolverhampton, England. It's a real city, so you can read about it on Wikipedia if you want to get a feel for it. For the better part of a year, Wolverhampton has (in game) been experiencing a strange string of murders. Bodies are found, with the time of death apparently being during the night, close to midnight. The bodies are completely peaceful, with no markings on their bodies or poisons in their systems. Nevertheless, they are thoroughly dead.
Someone your character knows well has been killed as part of these murders (for story reasons). Shortly thereafter, you found yourself in possession of a Persona, and every night, at midnight, the world changes. You are suddenly trapped in a place that looks very much like your city, but only others with Persona can access. No normal person enters it. That alternate Wolverhampton is filled with monsters- Shadows- and some buildings that do not, and in fact are bizarre enough that they could not, exist in the real world.
As you might have guessed if you played Persona 3, it's a Dark Hour like phenomenon. The strange buildings are dungeons of a sort. The Persona that you have manifests as a red card, rather than the traditional blue, and have personalities and sentience of their own. In truth, they are artificial Persona- Persona made out of living people. The Persona you bear is made out of the person you knew who was killed. The characters, of course, are not yet aware of this.
Normal Persona exist as well, and can be obtained by the Persona 4 method- by confronting your Shadow self, which exists within the Other Wolverhampton. They are more powerful than artificial Persona. They also have some special abilities that you’ll learn about if you get one....
So, what exactly are you supposed to do? Well, what does this opportunity mean to you? You could try to find out who the killer is. You could try to find a way to profit from this other world. You could try to discover its secrets, explore, get stronger by fighting the Shadows that reside there... but I don't recommend ignoring it. Those who try to run from the power they are granted tend to end up dead....
Rules:
1) No god-modding, no power playing. Duh.
2) Keep things PG-13. I don't care if you want to swear, but don't get overly sexual or overly violent. Not interested.
3) Me and my co-creator (Vicarious Shaner) reserve the right to kick you out if you're holding things back.
4) We also reserve the right to not accept you, obviously. I'm looking for good R Pers, and I'm perfectly willing to shut down individuals to keep up the level of quality.
5) Remember, you're not playing to win. You're playing to tell a good story. Probably doesn't need to be said, but we've all had those bad experiences.
