Damn, I hoping that there was going to be a cinematic adaptation of Stephen Baxter's Flood.
With cannon shot and gun blast smash the alien. With laser beam and searing plasma scatter the alien to the stars.

Huh. I've always been a fan of the Disaster Movie genre, yet I've never seen this one. I'll definitely watch it.
