Medusa

"This is not necessary" says Medusa as she takes hold of the glasses in her hands. She would not deny the gift, though she would give the man chance to take back his offer.

However, she soon took hold of her veil and removed it... and even with her eyes closed there was significant amount of magic at work. The air felt slightly heavy, as if an energy was gathering strength to be released into the world for the few moment it took the violet haired woman to put on the glasses.

She then stared away from her allies as she first opened her eyes... after all, it would be troublesome if Charlie had misjudged the strength of the Enchantment within his glasses. However, his promise held through... and thus she turned to stare at the two men with own eyes for the first time.

And those eyes are beyond bizarre to look upon. They are gray in color, with an appearance similar to crystals and pupils which see the world through black squares.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.

Elias Callahan, Archwood Apartment

Robin radiated determination and a desire to destroy the undead that had risen. "Look Robin, go kill, no destroy, those creatures but I ask that you rest at some point tonight. I don't know for certain if you Servants need rest but I'd feel better if you were nearby. We've seen far too many Assassin's tonight for me to rest without one eye open."

He was being utterly honest, no reason to hide his fears after all. But Elias knew quite well from what little time he had spent with this woman that she would have her way unless he used a command seal. He stood and walked toward his bedroom before speaking one last time for the night. This time he spoke with a demanding tone "Show the undead no mercy but do not engage a Servant unless absolutely required. No more blood should be shed between Servant while the city burns. Am I understood Robin?"

Valeria Morris, With Augustus

The fight was a little hard for her to follow in the storm but she could sense her Servant. Her body remained unable to move in the face of the torrent. "Damn" she cursed. She wanted to be useful to her Servant not just a girl to protect yet here she was captured but wind and water. She growled as she strained in a vain attempt to move in the storm. Part of her wanted to call the others she had met at the church but he tries to move her hands seemed to be pointless. She almost howled in anger but kept her slow burning rage in check. For now.

I, for one, welcome our new Basketball Z overlords. All hail The Generation of Miracles! (Aomine is the best though)

Robin Hood

Well, look who is all commanding all of a sudden thought Robin in surprise at Elias' command. Still, she found herself liking this development besides herself. The Servant then nodded her head and tried to dispel the heavy mood of the night "Understood... but please Elias. I am the one and only Robin Hood. My job will be done in no time"

She then turned for the door, not looking back before adding "I'll be back soon... so stay safe and rest. You need it. Should you feel anything call to me and I'll be here"

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.

Lancer (Vlad Tepes), The Beach

"What are you gonna do if I tell you? Look, I'm not a nice guy. I kill people for a living. I can tell you do too. But I wouldn't be able to look myself in the eye, or anyone else, ever again, if I ratted those guys out and left them to die. They haven't done nothing. They're just trying to earn a paycheck. So forgive me if I don't feel eager to tell someone in the same profession where my buddies are camped out."

Lancer looked genuinely confused for a moment. Then, he shook his head and sighed.

"I will kill them all of course. And I will do the same to all the other soldiers on this beach. This is War. Your employer might have not told you, and you may curse her for it, but that doesn't change it in slightest. I swore that I will destroy Emilia Archibald, and all who serve her and I will do so without a slightest hesitation"

He explained to the soldier in soft, almost gentle tone, that didn't really help to mitigate his utterly indifferent expression or the coldness in his eyes, as he continued.

"The survival of your comrades was a foregone conclusion from the beginning. Only the question of your survival remains open. You tell me what I want to know, and I kill everyone else on the beach and then go to the base and kill everyone there, but I wont hurt you. You will have my oath. Or you wont tell me what I want to know. In that case I will hurt you. A lot. And then, I will wake one of your comrades and ask him the same questions, with your still living body as an example of what happens if he remains silent."

Lancer paused, giving the soldier some time for the realization to sink in. The he spoke with a single word.

"Choose."

Joseph Vlkov, His Base, Redrock Town

"Very well then, Joseph....Allow me to at least keep you company until you feel you can walk."

"Looks like we're staying...Shall I remain on guard? Its quite lonely out there. Nothing to do but stare out the window."

Joseph breathed a sigh of relief. That went fairly well. He also didn’t failed to notice that his outburst which he considered an almost childish lapse of self-control seemed to impress both of his Servants. A part of him couldn’t help but to appreciate the irony. He coughed.

"I will need my suitcase, I think I left it in the living room. One of you will have to draw a pentagram around the bed with the equipment in there and according to my exact instructions. It will draw the prana from the nearby ley-line and it should ease the drain from you two enough for me to do something about my legs."

He threw a half-irritated, half-thoughtful look at the broken window and the obviously magical storm outside.

"We should also a place scout or two out of there. Considering the storm, it is pretty obvious that the War got kicked into a higher gear and despite my…temporary immobility we should have some idea what is happening outside."

James Villach, Villach Mansion, Redrock Town

"Alright...What is it you want?"

Well…that was fast. James hoped he would have time for bath first, be apparently this wasn’t the case. He would have to suffer in those wet clothes for another few minutes. Trying to ignore his irritating discomfort, James smiled a sleazy smile as he greeted Fafnir.

"Ah! Welcome back! I think you will find my efforts while you were away…satisfactory.I…convinced a lot of people to become our followers, and their offerings should make a… good foundation for rebuilding your treasury. And I see that you brought some valuables yourself. "

James glanced at the sack that lied near Fafnirs feet.

"I think that with this we may begin to look for true treasures to add into your collection."

He smiled with a fake enthusiasm and looked outside. The disappointment that the storm managed to interrupt his planned revelry, that was held in check till now returned in full force. He gritted his teeth.

"This…downpour outside is obviously magical in nature and is disturbing my plans. I think that with our next step, we should make clear for everyone involved that they cant just dick around as they want. Find some Servant and kill him. You can keep whatever valuables he or his Master drops and add it to your collection. That should make others think twice about creating a magical storm in MY territory."

Rider(Oddyseus), Fighting against Augustus, Archwood City

His foe still seemed to be overly cautious, but at least he blocked his attack this time. To further test him, Odysseus began to push on the locked blades, trying to overpower his enemy and throw his sword to the side.

…Out of corner of his eye, Odysseus saw his opponent leg move and he scrambled to defend against it. He noticed it in time, but the damnable storm slowed him and with a cold certainty he realized that he simply couldn't defend against it in time. A single thought flashed in his head.

"This will suck..."

The kick landed on the intended place, only partially blocked by Odysseus thigh. With a groan, Odysseus half jumped, and half collapsed backwards, desperately trying to gain some distance between him and Augustus, while remaining completely unguarded.

Archer's Peak

"If you say so." Noah looked to the ground as she spoke. What was she helping with? Tending to others to keep them save, to keep their lives. That's noble, right? It's doing just as much as her Servant and the Overseer Jeanne d'Arc. "... Alright." without further hesitation Noah headed off into Archer's Peak and into the safety of the light house.

"A squad to accompany me? Very well, if that's what you see fit. Though I'm pretty confident in my abilities even if my speed is reduced." Jeanne looked at Roosevelt with a nod. "I'll be going then. Take care of yourself, Rider." the Overseer of the Grail War charged off into the distance, waving for some of Roosevelt's troops to follow after her.

Nero — With Yuna, Archwood City — Building Basement

"I believe we should escape this hellhole while we have the chance, Praetor. The ensuing chaos feels..." Nero's eyes closed half-way. She wondered about all of this destruction. It was orchestrated, planned. Definitely. So the perpetrator, who or what could they be? It was best to distance oneself from the situation at hand. "Let's distance ourselves for now." Nero pulled Yuna up into her arms as she began to walk through the building.

She walked forward and ended up finding stairs that went down into the ground. "Shelter." she said with a smile on her face. "We shall rest here for now, Praetor." she set the young magus down onto an old, brown chair. It was dusty but should be suited for some kind of comfort.

After that Nero looked up toward the ceiling to the battle above ground.

For the life of me and my Praetor, I hope this battle settles down soon.

Iskander — With Mirai

"Nonsense girl! If they don't know who I am, how will they know to join my army!?" the man's logic was certainly as solid as his head.

Dark Tamamo and Manaka — Archwood City

"Hmmmmm." Tamamo smiled ever so slightly. "I can provide defensive measures as you battle it out with monkey boy there..." she pointed with the tip of her finger. "And I can offer some support from behind, though if I do, our dear Master will be left unguarded." she feigned sadness as her face seeped into a frown.

The money came out of nowhere and Tamamo dodged as if it were second nature. Manaka was unphased.

"OH, Master, want another snack!?" the Caster class Servant looked to Manaka then to the monkey.

"No." Manaka said with a voice devoid of any emotion. "I just want his head." she smiled brightly at the thought of the Servant's blood spilling.

"Okey-dokey then." Tamamo looked at Yami. "Well then, I guess I'm ready when you are!"

Black Knight — Vs. Arturia

The blade, still flooded with prana, comes back down in a reverse motion in order to redirect the enemy Saber's incoming attack. "Come now, is that really all you have?" she said with a sadistic smile. The fight was getting heated up but something really gnawed at her from the back of her mind.

Though, what could it be?

Surely I'm not this week to be swayed by mere thought., with that her mind became steel, only focused on the battle at hand.

Sargon of Akkad — Brunhild Bridges

As his dear Master sang, Sargon reflected on his once glorious life. The campaign, the destruction of the walls of Uruk and even his own death. Really there was nothing to be ashamed of. It was his life and his alone.

"A beautiful song, Marcia." the Archer class Servant looked upon the destruction of the city as it's reflected in his eyes. A large, blood-red stain.

Bridget — With Lancelot, Archwood City

"Lancelot.' Bridget said as she looked up and around, though it was in vein since she had no functioning eyes. "What's going on?"

"Woof!" Victor barked once as it tried to guide Bridget through a functional pathway which was an alley.

"N-no, Victor, where are you taking me? Lancelot?" she reached out to her garbed Servant. "What are we going to do?" the young girl was obviously worried.

Archer's Peak

Roosevelt nodded in approval, and a dozen Rough Riders rode off after Jeanne. For his count, Roosevelt gunned his motorcycle and whirled around, looking for a suitable ramp. That pile of dirt could work, yes...

And then Theodore Roosevelt fired the Harley-Davidson at full throttle, accelerating off the hundred-foot cliff and launching into the city streets below to help his skeletal Rough Riders rescue people from the massive tornado that had been kicked up by Kusanagi.

He reminded himself to write that sentence in his autobiography.

"Alright, I assure you, citizens of Archwood City, that I am not your enemy!" Roosevelt roared out as he streaked through the streets, a Rough Rider flanking him on either side. "We are here to help! Please make your way to the refugee camp at the Archer's Peak Lighthouse cellar."

I have permission to take over for Lancelot, just in case anyone was wondering/curious.

Lancelot, with Bridget

"Do not worry, Bridget, it is only a slight storm..." murmured a powerful voice, as a tall man took hold of her hand. The man, however, would not tell her of the undead whom he had to slay in order to ensure that she would be protected. This innocent child shouldn't have to know the tragedies that were currently plaguing the city... no child should.

"And for now... let's take you someplace," said the shrouded man as he held a large umbrella over Bridget, shielding her from the heavy rain with it. The reason why the umbrella was not affected, was because it too was a Noble Phantasm by some odd miracle... white veins streaking across it as it became white and pure. "I know of only one place where you will be truly safe, Bridget, and that is where I intend to take you, despite what they may want."

He had to find a safe place for Bridget, and someone who could watch over her so that he could find the source of all this chaos. There was only one person who came to his mind; her sister. Patting Bridget upon her head, he materialized into his armor that shined brightly, and was almost like a beacon of hope as it covered him completely. With his armor on, and with both of his Noble Phantasms having already been activated, the knight cracked his knuckles a bit, before picking up both Bridget and Victor within his arms. "Let us go, Bridget," stated the knight as he dashed through the ally, and made his way to the Harway mansion. "Also, for your safety, please call me 'Saber' while we are outside. We cannot have others knowing my identity, for they will surely try to harm you if they were to find out who I am," spoke Lancelot in a warm and soft voice as he explained to Bridget.

Yami

Looking over at Tamamo and Manaka, Yami nodded her head and faced Wukong. With her sixth sense, she could feel that there was no longer any danger in the area, except for the Servant in front of the; this was their chance. "Caster, do not allow him to escape... Use everything you have so that we may kill him here. Also, keep a watchful eye on our Master... make sure she is safe."

With those words, her eyes became more reptilian in nature, and her horns and nails grew, her monstrous abilities taking affect now that she had a designated prey. With now unrivaled speed, Yami shot herself straight at Wukong, swinging her sword at him as both she and her sixth sense were more than ready for anything that the monkey may have in stored for her.

Marcia

"Ah...T-Thank you, Sargon," murmured Marcia as she looked over at the city, watching it intensely as she smiled a bit at his compliment.

After a few silent moments, and after thinking a bit, an idea crossed Marcia's mind.

"Hey... Sargon... Your armory... they are infinite, are they not?"

Aaron Skyfield

After casting aside the torn body of the Assassin, the Dead Apostle Aaron looked down at the crashing waves where the book had landed.

"Damn this," he said. It would probably take awhile to find the damn thing, and with the storm roughing up the seas, it was even more difficult to search.

With some pain, he forced his arms back into their regular shape and then dove into the water. He'd have to feed again soon. First though, he needed to find that book.

Sun Wukong

Raising an eyebrow at Yami's unimpeded charge, the Great Sage began to widen his stance. While the women had been talking, Wukong's Noble Phantasm had appeared in his hands, a staff that would be solid black if not for the golden bands on each end. Digging in his heels, he attempted nothing for the moment except blocking the considerably quicker and stronger attack coming his way.

Even pushing back with his full strength, however, Yami's attack not only caused yet another crater to open up beneath him, but also began to push him uncontrollably backwards through the pavement, though the Monkey King never lost his solid footing. "Hn! Faster'n I was expectin', Saber!" he grunted as they tore a massive furrow - or at this rate, a small river - through the street, "So's this little storm yer doin'? Can ya stop it? Ain't really a straight bout like this."

Arthuria

"Kay! With me! Let us bring her down!" says Arthuria, grasping her holy blade with both hands, a determined expression in her eyes. This Knight had to fall... she might be her mirror, her equal. Arthuria did not know if she alone could bring her down... or if the two of them would waste away fighting eternally. However, she was not alone.

It had been a long time since... but in this battle, she did not fight alone. If she was a match for the Black Knight, then with the might of brother on her side, they could surely vanquish this foe.

Thus Arthuria did not stop, did not relieve the pressure on the Black Knight, forcing the two of them to fight with their all, with every ounce of their instinct and skill.

Archwood City — Entrance to Bridge Connecting to Archer's Peak

The citizens heard tell of the mysterious rider on the motor cycle. He yelled at them, telling them to take shelter at Archer's Peak.

"What is going on? Is it the end of time!?" one man screamed.

"No, surely not." another women said in reply.

"What is going on in our city...?" one salaryman said as he dropped his suitcase. He was returning home from a meeting. That was all. That was all that he wanted to do. A nice dinner with his family. He had a life of his own to live after all. Surely, that was not allowed. What was going on in this city was unnatural. It was against all laws of physics. Against the common sense that governs the mundane world. What was going on? There pleas for an answer would remain unheard.

A large flock of people stormed toward Archer's Peak to escape the winding wins. To escape the darkness that has overtaken their fair city.

Tamamo and Manaka— Archwood City

"Don't worry, Yami-chan, I'll be sure to take good care of our dear Master." Tamamo said as she embraced Manaka in a hug.

Manaka was unamused by the embrace to say the least. Her expression spoke everything about her. The destruction, the fires from before, the storm. It was all really mindless. Normally it would please her. "Caster, you can have some fun too!" Manaka said with a forced smile. As she said that, her shadow expanded out into a circle as if preparing for anyone or anything to attack. Due to the darkened skies from both the storm and the moon above, barely anyone could see the darkness dancing about near the young Magus.

"Oh? Are you sure? Well, I'll stay nearby!" Tamamo put half of her attention to Sun Wukong and the other half on her Master's position. "How about this~!" Tamamo pulled up three slips of paper. They were embued with magic energy from Tamamo's own core, or rather a 'natural energy' that came from the Servant itself. It wasn't quite magecraft nor True Magic. "Here you go!" with one toss of the hand the slips of paper flew out. They flew right past Yami and straight at Sun Wukong.

A trio of violent gusts that had enough force to tear through the skin of even a Servant. It was support from behind but support nonetheless. All three charms were homed in on Sun Wukong. Hopefully the monkey could do something about the attack before it turned him into mince meat.

Jeanne d'Arc — Archwood City

Jeanne stalked through the streets with the Rough Riders providing her support. She sensed the wielder of Kusanagi, Saber, or rather Yamato no Orochi nearby. It may be unfair using her Overseer abilities for a chase but there was no time. This was drastic. If more lives were endangered because of this hellish war— no, she couldn't think on that now. She had to start with what she could do like she told herself before.

"Follow my lead." she said to the undead soldiers provided by Roosevelt. Soon she would arrive at the battle between two Servants of a dark Master and the mystery Lancer, Sun Wukong.

Sargon of Akkad — Brunhild Bridges

"Not quite but I have more than enough to last this entire war. Why do you ask, Marcia?" Sargon said with his arms crossed. Truly, what could be on his Master's mind?

Bridget, with Lancelot

"S-saber?" she tried to mutter the word that Lancelot had told her to say. "... Okay, Saber."

"Rao..." Victor pouted as the dog was assailed by the violent winds and rain.

"Despite what they want...? Are we going to visit my father?" Bridge said with a frown.

Roosevelt continued sweeping through the streets, stopping to rescue the occasional trapped child or driver. And photo ops. A twenty-something walked up to him and took a photograph of him with one of those new handheld telephones, and he simply obligingly smiled. "Tell your friends, Theodore Roosevelt 2016!"

Rider then rode off with a cry of "Bully!" And continued collecting refugees to get to Noah.

Meanwhile, Jeanne's undead Rough Rider accompaniment* stayed in formation behind her, carbines ready for anything that would be too big for Jeanne to deal with. They also made sure to aim to kill; President Roosevelt had just fed them a new order: do not let her take a life. Steal any magical artifacts from defeated enemies if you can, too, and return them to Noah.

Sun Wukong

Shiiiiiit! "One at a time, bitches!" Immediately panicked by the incoming spell tags, exactly the sort of thing that had been used to imprison him for years on end during life, Wukong completely disregarded whatever movements Yami was making and extended the earth-ward end of his staff rapidly into the ground, the resulting force rocketing him skyward even as he contracted the bludgeon back to its normal size. Although it was at a really awkward, diagonal angle, his trajectory at least pushed him out of the course of the deadly Witchcraft.

Blood pounding in his ears and adrenaline rushing through his veins, the Monkey King's eyes flickered back and forth between his two opponents, and something about the way they appeared through his Pure Eyes that had been itching at the back of his brain finally clicked. That prissy, better-than-you look...! That fakey-fake, bullshit glow...!

"I shoulda known!" he snarled, letting loose an involuntary screech and regressing to a more simian form as he approached the apex of his arc, "Yer... Yer some kinda gods, ain'tcha?!" While the Great Sage gripped his weapon with such force it looked like it might break, a certain spine-tingling aura began to coalesce in the air around him, the sure sign that a Servant was about to unleash the true power of their Noble Phantasm.

Kay

The knight did not verbally answer his sister, but answered her words with an attack of his own.

The enemy fought like his sister, and he had fought his sister enough times to know her moves well.

He waited for that telltale sign....There! That slight movement on the enemy's right hand.

And he struck. The strike that had disarmed his sister whenever they practiced as children, aimed straight for the Black Knight's grip on the sword.

Augustus

It worked! The gods were with him, it seemed. Now the enemy was defenseless!

....But no, if he struck and failed he would be the one wide open. He would have to cut this battle short.

And so, with his slowed down agility he leapt away from Rider, and landed right next to his Master.

"Let us away, madam! I do not wish to fight in this weather longer than I have to."

And, murmuring a soft apology, he carried her bridal-style and fled as fast as the weather would allow him.

Emilia Archibald

"Good." They arrived at the top floor, and the elevators doors opened. Emilia headed straight for the penthouse, and slammed looking like a wet cat.

"Unbelievable. Utterly unbelievable. This humiliation... Hrrrmmmmm... I need a shower," Emilia decided suddenly. "Enkidu, keep watch. You can do... whatever, just don't leave the room. I'm going to cleanse myself."

Shutting the door behind her, Emilia began to undress. Her slick and glistening body suggested beauty most human women would only dream of, but inside she felt dirty. She turned the dial to hot, and stepped inside the shower. She embraced the rain of hot water, letting it wash over her every pore until she felt clean. Today's humiliation, the loss of her pride, her castle... nothing would ever make her forget that. It was shame greater than she'd ever felt. And she had no desire other than to simply wash it away, and plot bloody murder against Snake.

"You useless mercenary... who do you think you are, fucking with me like this..." she muttered angrily as she began sudsing up her hair. "I will not stand for this... not from a useless mercenary like you. Not from you, not from that little girl, not from anybody!"

She had made up her mind long before she stepped in the shower, but the water cleared her head, and made her choice clear. "Tomorrow, everyone dies."

Soldier

"Heh. You ain't giving me much of a choice, are you? Seems like either way, everyone's gonna die..." he smiled faintly, totally out of place with the situation. He raised a single hand in defiance. "Fuck you, old man."

Jesse

"Huh? What did I do?" Jesse said, playing the dumb card. She had a vague idea of what Felicia was going through, but still, she failed to see how it was her fault.

Yami

Yami grinned intensely upon hearing Wukong... her crimson eyes glowing even brighter as her... draconic and monstrous features began to show more and more. "Gods...? Hah... don't make me laugh... As if I would be classified under such petty cheaters as them." Gripping her Kusanagi tighter, she calmly walked towards Sun Wukong. "While I'm not a god, I was one of the strongest beasts to roam the land and faced both gods and heroes... though, I suppose it doesn't really matter, now does it? That look you have is the same I had that day... and I know nothing I say will get to you..."

"...I suppose I will just have to put you down, now wont I?" asked Yami as she took a readying stance.

Despite her sixth sense screaming at her that there was clear danger from both Wukong, and an approaching foe... she was ready to face them both, and whatever they were going to throw her way. The Hero-Killer was more than ready to unleash her ultimate trump card, her strongest Noble Phantasm... the one Noble Phantasm that she cherished more than her life.

"Come, Lancer... let's end this petty fight here! Show me your true strength!"

Marcia

Upon hearing this, Marcia thought a bit more. After thinking about it for some time, she finally spoke her idea.

"Well, I was thinking... depending upon your Noble Phantasm's range... would it be possible to fire it at the entire city and purge a much of this chaos as possible?"

Lancelot

The white clouded knight did not speak at first, instead choosing to stay silent. After a couple of seconds of thinking, he sighed, and shook his head. "Not quite. We're indeed going to your father's, but we are not going to see him... If your sister as is powerful as I believe, and if this... situation is what I think it is and if my hunches are correct... then you will definitely be safe there."

"I'm going to see if your sister can watch over you for a while... I do hope that is okay, Bridget," spoke the knight as he continued to hold onto both Bridget and Victor, and as he dashed closer and closer towards the Harway manor.

Yuna sighed, starting to attempt to wring her clothing out. She was starting to get rather dispirited with her utter lack of doing anything, but she closed her eyes briefly and attempted to soldier on.

"...Saber. Do we just need to wait out this storm? We should plan, or...or something."

Option "soldier on and pretend everything's normal" wasn't quite working, as evidenced by her voice cracking slightly on the last two words.

Mirai

Mirai blinked in a futile attempt to clear her vision from the rain.

"I still don't think it's the best idea, sir, but I reserve the right to say I-told-you-so." She shrugged slightly.

"...Go ahead, if you really think it's wise."

Felicia

Felicia used Jesse's apparent confusion to take several more quick steps away from the other woman. The teen was now on the other side of the room from Jesse, refusing to look at the other magus.

"...thank you for your hospitality," she managed in a whisper.

"I'm leaving now." Felica did in fact take a few steps towards the door. If she got out of sight of Jesse, she would vanish into the shadows, but she had another door to get through first.

Enkidu

Enkidu did not have a hard time complying with his Master's orders. Indeed, due to his skill, just by being alive and in the apartment he was keeping better watch than many Servants could keep.

With some of the knowledge of the modern era that the Grail granted him, the savage man moved towards the fridge and raided it of food, taking a good amount of it with him towards a big bear skin that served as a rug in the middle of the living room. There he began to eat and gaze out the window into the storm raging outside.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.

Bedivere

Though it may have looked to observers like Bedivere was watching the fight between his comrades and the dark knight and waiting for just the right moment to strike, that couldn't be further off the mark. Deep in an argument with Erin over their new alliance with Assassin, Arturia's most loyal was totally oblivious to the outside world.

But what if-

Enough, Sir Bedivere! he could feel the redhead groan in exasperation over their link, Everything is going to be fine, trust me. He works in mysterious ways sometimes. We must simply hold faith that this is part of His plan for us. Understand? And I'm your Master, so start acting like it! While you're at it, you should probably help out our friends. The middle of a battle is no time to be tuning things out.

!!! Snapping to attention, the knight in shining armor finally realized the situation at hand. Yes, my liege! With Rhongomyniad roaring to life in his hands, he lunged for the Black Knight's remaining flank in a streak of holy fire.

Charlie and Ravana

"Wow." Ravana let out a low whistle. "Those are some blinkers you've got, babe! Never, in all my years, have I seen eyes quite like your own, m'dear." Taking in the sight of them for another moment, he stroked his chin in consideration. "Definitely not human, eh? That's fine! I'm not either! I think you'll find we have a lot in com-"

"Rider!" his Master broke in sharply, "Don't." The detective was standing in a rather awkward position, staring off into space with his back to Medusa and only able to guess what was going on behind him.

"Hey now!" The Demon King held up a hand in protest, looking mightily offended. "I wasn't even going to do anything this time!"

"Right. Sorry." Charlie shook his head and sighed tiredly. I should've known better. Maybe all this doom and gloom is getting to me.

No worries. Sure you don't want to take a gander, though? She's even hotter than I thought, you know!

At that, the silver-haired man couldn't help but crack a grin. You have a one-track mind, don't you? It's not like I don't want to look, but it'd be a violation of privacy.

Hmph. What good's a talent if you don't make use of it?

"Anyway," the once-magus shrugged and gave the purple-haired woman a backward wave, "I'm glad the lenses seem to be working. If there's nothing else you'd like to talk about, we'll see you tomorrow."

Sun Wukong

"Don't lie ta me, Snake! I know gods when I see 'em!" the Monkey King roared, pointing the end of his weapon straight for Yami's center of gravity, "Ruyi Jingu Bang!"

With only those words as a warning, the tip of the staff shot instantaneously forward, extending toward Yami many times more rapidly than its Master himself could move in Kusanagi's gale, much faster than even its target, despite the divine serpent's presently superior Agility.

Jesse

"But Felicia~" Jesse said in a mock whine as she grabbed Felicia's wrist, "It's so could outside, you should really just stay here, at least for the night. Come on, pleeeeease?"

Emilia Archibald

Emilia exited the shower in a new set of clothes, a towel draped over her head. "Enkidu-" she called, but stopped when she saw the wild man (or was it wild boy?) seated in front of the TV. He'd emptied the entire fridge for a snack.

"I see you've made yourself comfortable," Emilia remarked dryly.

Felicia

Felicia froze momentarily at the contact, before shaking her head furiously.

"No." Her voice was quiet but firm.

She attempted to jerk her hand free. If she could get out of Jesse's line of sight...

Archwood City — Ending of the 2nd Day

Death.

Destruction.

Loss.

These are the only rules of war. They are indiscriminate.

The battles waged through out the city continued. Thousands dead after the bombings by a mysterious assailant that has yet to be named. The Masters and Servants that thirst after the Holy Grail are the only ones that remain standing. They fight, they die. The cycle repeats itself through the hour, on the hour.

A man by the name of Albert Harway stands there on the roof of his own manor. A smile forms ear to ear. "Finally... it will be mine." He turns his back to the burning Archwood City.

Countless people forgotten in the midst of the supernatural. Overshadowed by the magic of the unknown.

This is truly only the beginning in this Hell called the Holy Grail War.

OATH/ALTERNATIVE END
