Are they just going to smack you for even suggesting something or saying anything that's even half against them, or do they have more restraint than that.
Also are they going to resort to like you know putting barriers over the doors.

I suppose that would depend on the suggestions and what, exactly, is being said. There's not much in the way of Free Speech in Circium, but so long as you don't go around openly questioning the Powers That Be, you should be fine.

I'm sort of waiting to see whether or not the big scary mechanical menace just blows up the summon or not.

Well, maybe, but having an Arch Mage Council comprised of me and two NP Cs is easier to manage... :P

Not entirely dead.Ok so I'm just going to Weist town during the storm.
I'd do more but I have stuff I wanted to do and haven't done, and for reasons I would rather not disclose I don't feel the best right now. But here, super condensed version.
So Selia and Weston (basically amateur fire mage and inventor) notice a huge monster, that is like a snake and has huge pieces of armour all over it. They go oh shit and run over to Rebecca's house because dying just isn't appealing. Then Niel (wind mage more or less)notices the monter and goes OH LET'S HIT IT WITH WIND and because of the storm the spell is really powerful and knocks it backwards. But then the monster tries to eat Niel.
Meanwhile Elios, a doctor, goes into complete histerics after seeing the monster and tries to get people to evacuate the building he is in.
In a different building Ferrus (basically a knight using mechanized armour) notices the monster and runs upstairs to get his armor in order to protect Rebecca (the mayor's daughter).
He gets it on and then Weston and Selia appear and tell Rebecca to go fight the monster so Niel doesn't end up dead. Meanwhile Niel is nearly killed by the monster as it lunges after him and he stumbles. Ferrus erupts into heroics and tells the rest of the people to stay back and charges the monster in his power armour at full speed. He smacks the monster back a foot or two but it doesn't do much and he's pushed onto the defensive. Rebecca starts charging a shot on her staff. Weston runs and grabs the improved prototype of something he'd tried earlier and failed, calling Selia to help him. She's reluctant as it failed earlier but she reluctantly starts helping him. Niel asks what the heck the prototype is. Ferrus attempts to wrestle the monster into submission and Rebecca fires her bolt of magic. Weston answers Niel's question but Selia pesters him into resuming work, and he begins to saw off a table leg to prop the prototype up with. Ferrus at this point is coiled completely around, and Rebecca's bolt of magic bounces right off. Ferrus maxes out his power armour and attempts to slam the monster into the ground to hurt it. Rebecca charges another shot and gets closer. The creature wraps out from around Ferrus and charges at Rebecca. Meanwhile Weston and Selia prop up the prototype and it begins charging.Ferrus despite his power armour being broken runs after the monster yelling about it, and Niel recognizes the prototype as a magic amplifier and backs up to make sure he isn't hurt. Rebecca holds her ground and continues charging in an attempt to actually damage the monster by hitting a weak point. Rebecca's blast knocks the monster into a building, and it charges for Selia and Weston. They unleash a blast of energy that demolishes the monster and a few buildings.
Friedrich finally comes out to help as he is a doctor and had avoided the fight and ask if they need any help.
Everyone celebrates and gloats, and Friedrich asks what the heck happened as he had not seen.
Sorry about the crappiness but I did get it done. Yay.

This is a quick copy paste I'm doing in all the discussion threads of RPs I'm in. I was hoping to get some serious posting done tonight in multiple RPs, some of which I outright said I planned to do.
Unfortunately, I just became the victim of a sudden and rapid onset of a painful physical issue. It's not serious, (At least I really, really, really hope it isn't.) but it was rather painful and still smarts even now. This has done to my drive to post what many a baseball bat has done to the kneecaps of people who owed money to the mob.
Now, I don't have any more work this week, so I'm staying up as late as I want tonight and might get some posting done later before bed. In any case, I apologize for the delay on my part.
With any luck I'll be back to normal by tomorrow, but in the meantime, I'm gonna try and find some painkillers and do my best to distract this pain away.
