So Kuroko no Basuket is confirmed to be ending soon. Next issue, apparently.

Anime-planet account http://www.anime-planet.com/users/BrainBlowFrom what I've been reading, it's that or drag it out, which would be quite the controversial decision but in-line with standard Jump policy.
Still a bit surprising that Jump would let something like that just end.
Maybe they were annoyed by all the controversy, even if that wasn't the manga's fault. But it's always nice to see a manga going out while it's still popular.
Seems "Sporting Salt" is getting a full release now. Neat timing now that Kuroko is ending.

Apparently, the Hunter x Hunter guy is having a flareup of his back problems again.
Oh, for Christ's-
Can't someone move it to a Monthly magazine or something? So that it goes easier on him?

We do not know the ranking for chapter 1 of My Hero Academia due to it receiving a colour page for chapter 8.
The Kuroko threat guy has filed for appeal. Many speculate this is due to the manga ending.

So Illegal Rare has finally kicked the bucket, eh? Surprised it even managed to last this long. It looks like Zumo's still doing well; hopefully it can make a name for itself so Jump can have something come out of this year.
And seriously, Togashi needs to, like, hire an art team or something. Make a script or something and have other people get that script onto the page. I feel really bad - health problems aren't a light matter - but the constant hiatuses is getting ridiculous.
Yeah, Illegal Rare was piggybacking off of luck, but that's run out. Jump is completely out of fodder series unless one of the new ones opens in last or something. If it weren't for the New Era Project, I'd think Naruto's on track to end this round, which would make the last necessary slot to fit these three series.
And yeah. Togashi clearly doesn't need the money, and the series sells enough that most would jump at the chance to take over the art.

Judos—Pretty much discards any actual judo in the first chapter. Hope there's a better female character in the main storyline.
Naruto—Farewells a-plenty; I admit it, I teared up a bit.
Man am I late. This one actually came out early, but I spent most of the week fairly pre-occupied. Didn't even have time to properly read the English issue (and still haven't). Sorry.

One new success, one failure.
I don't know if I noted this anywhere, but an unspecified new project named Shonen Jump+ is being advertised in Japan.
The popularity poll results for Assassination Classroom were revealed in this issue. Turnout was low. Korosensei was in 3rd, Karma was in first. I am not typing out those full results. (I only bothered with World Trigger because someone else typed out most of it.)

This week's Nihongo Lesson is on "Ao", "Aka" and "Kiiro".
Bravo to Academia for the good start. I have to commend Horikoshi for trying so much to get something to stick after Oumazoo and Barrage. Hopefully for him Academia can actually last.
Curious, reading the comments, what else has the mangaka for Judos done? He talks like a "returning star" but I have no clue who he is.
Judos' premise looks awfully limited...maybe six volumes worth tops.
Hi-Fi Cluster could be good—it's another of those "people with special powers battle each other" series, but an interesting justification which allows normal people to at least have some influence.
Medical Salt—that preview image had darn better well be symbolic.
Can't find anything on him.
The syringe looks about the same size as Compa's. It's most likely completely accurate.

My Hero Academia is ranked first? Neat. I love the artist, and I really want to see him be able to work on a successful series.
Anime-planet account http://www.anime-planet.com/users/BrainBlowIt might have been interesting to make Hi Fi Cluster a look at dealing with learning disabilities by metaphor; but I am pretty sure it's just going to be a special abilities fighting manga.

élDLIVE by Akira Amano will run via Jump Start.
This week's Nihongo Lesson is on ordering food: "o kudasai", "ni shimasu" and "zenbu kudasai".
Ouch, Yoakemono fell fast.
It's nice to see My Hero Academia and Hinomaru Zumo still hold tightly to the upper half of the rankings even if they're not in first. As I've noted before, 2014 hasn't really had anything long-lasting, let alone instant hits, so it's nice to see some fresh blood coursing through.
Shonen Jump+ sounds like a damn generous offer, especially for Jump's first real push into digital. The selection's pretty interesting too. Biggest jaw-dropper for me is the Hetalia spin-off. Never would've expected that to make it's way to jump.
Speaking of lasting manga and Jump+, I'm still amazed iShojo's managed to hold on as well as it has. Like, I don't know if I was just expecting too much out of Illegal Rare and Stealth Symphony, but I did not expect iShojo to be the last one standing among them.
Curious, any feedback on how Hi-Fi Cluster and Sporting Salt are doing? Both seem pretty interesting, but they can still tank regardless.
Interesting. I guess this is because the batting average for which new series to feature in the US version has been below .500, so at least now we might see what we're missing.
