An image that shows a different trope is misleading, and should be pulled.
This one I'm not sure exactly what it's showing, other than an explosion and something that looks vaguely like a character. There's certainly no delay visible in the image.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. No obvious delay —> doesn't demonstrate the trope well enough —> needs a go buh-bye
I agree, it just looks like something blew up real good. There's no sense of "delay".
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyPulled it.
Wouldn't a three or four panel picture make sense for this? Like from the Dark Knight; One of the Joker triggering the bomb, one of him looking back wondering why nothing has happened, one of him fiddling with the detonator, and one of him looking startled and bailing after the bomb goes off.
That works.
EDIT: Does the image size rule apply separately on each pic or must the three pics be put into a single pic with that size?

The total pic can be no wider than 350 px.
Yeah, the uploader complains if you try to upload anything larger. I bumped into that on accident within the last week, even.
Moon◊Barring the Joker example, I've got an idea but it's gonna be tonight before I can work on it.
Any image, not just the image that was pulled, would look bad as a one-panel thing, when you consider that the trope inherently requires a beat berfore the explosion.
Just my two cents. I don't think it is that the previous image was bad so much as it is that any image that's one panel would be just as bad for this trope.
I have a message from another time...Okay, how's this?
Hey, somebody grab a shot of Mario blowing up the World 5 castle in Super Mario World.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Well to be fair TTGL is a legit example and I'll go and try to get screencaps that show the delay The one panel fails honestly.
Veeeery much not a fan of mspaint pic up there >_>

Just curious - because of the concept or the art? Paint's all I have to work with.
The art =/
It works, but I'd prefer something more substantial if it could be found.
(Not saying that TTGL would be instantly perfect - it's usually quite unfit for illustrations - but it's went and grabbed the first spot on the things to check.)

I'd rather have a picture from a work, if it's all the same to you.
I have a message from another time...I'd much prefer the Joker example, personally, or any media example, but until we get one...
Took a few shots of SMW castle #5: [1]◊ [2]◊ [3]◊ [4]◊ [5]◊ [6]◊ [7]◊ [8]◊ [9]◊
Here's the combination I liked best: [10]◊ but I'm not sure about it. Which panels do you guys want?
Sorry about the quality, this was the best video I could find right now. I'll redo it if someone can find a better vid.

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.Looks good. Could be smaller, though.
Really, REALLY blurry. Good concept, but I think we'll need an emulator rip, not a video rip.

Moon◊In the interest of giving them all a fair shot, here's a two-panel version of the thing that was cut. As I said, a one panel example would make any example look bad for this trope.

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Clock is set.
23 or some variation of those panels is good, I think.
please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.
The image essentially is another trope altogether (that "I don't look at the explosion behind my back" image). Now don't go say saving this image because it's TTGL, shame on you.
