Alright, some notes about the songs:
- Whenever people start talking and I haven't indicated the song has stopped, you have to imagine like it's a voice-less part that's playing on the background.
- No one feels the urge to sing along.
- If I have ended the post and still haven't indicated the song ended, again, imagine like it's a voice-less part.
- No one suddenly knows how to tap-dance.
Hopefully that clears up any problems that might appear.
Oh yes, almost forgot: if you want your character to sing (don't know who would), just tell me. I'm sure we can arrange something.
Sorry I haven't posted recently. Close friends from out of town are coming by next week to celebrate the holidays before going off to spend the weeks even closer to Christmas with their actual families. I've spent the past few days prepping the house for their temporary stay, and I'll probably be spending the next few days entertaining, but I will try to catch up and contribute when I am available. Thank you, and have a happy holiday season.
Hm. It seems that I have some free time again, though I do not know for how long. What is the situation, in-universe?
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundThe group has welcomed quite a bunch of new people (like Fluterrush, Wally West, Nana and Claptrap) and has been teleported to the universe of Little Shop of Horrors, where it seems like there's two Wishes scattered around.
Oh, and if they don't find said wishes soon enough, the field around this world that makes people sing and dance out of nowhere will start to affect them.
Oh. Not something I'll have time to join, it seems.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundI'm back! Now to catch up on EVERYTHING!
I'm also back, and need to do some serious catching up! Oh, and in case anyone's curious, my week with friends was utterly marvelous. I even got the new XCOM as an early Christmas gift! ...Which, now that Strat's RP about the game has gone on hiatus, feels a tad bit ironic. Still, it's an excellent game, and my friends are wonderful people for getting it up for me.
Heya, how's the RP going?
It's going squibbly fine. And I don't even know what squibbly means.
Heh. Alrighty then, I think I have a character coming up, just need to finish reading the fanfic she's in XD May or may not bring back Kirby for the gags (he was a rather weak attempt at AU dealie...)
Personally, I liked your version of Kirby; compared to his usual cute and adorable (yet still courageous) self, a superheroic puffball with a serious tone was a nice change of pace. Either way, glad to hear you're planning on coming back, Ad.
Know what we need? A Pokemon trainer in the game! Or better yet, a PONY Pokemon Trainer! Who trains Zebstrika and Rapidash! :D
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HOTTING HELPY!!Think that contradicts itself.
There is, by the way, such a thing as 'Ponymon'. The ponies are the 'mons rather than the trainers, but it's still an interesting take on the concept. Just goes to show you what some people can do with an emulator, exceptional programming skills, and a lot of free time...

From the little I know of ponies, I think they're supposed to be one in nature and all that. So for them to be capturing animals and putting them inside little orbs so they would fight against each other seems too out-of-character, doesn't it?
Also, not everything needs to be pony-fied.
Well, the original protagonists of these games are 10-year-old boys, and that seems like an awfully young age to be teaching them about violence and letting them tour entire countries by themselves...
I do agree, Strat, that despite the fact that I like the show myself, a large part of the pony fandom is outright crazy in their devotion to this show and their desire to combine all other possible hobbies with it. Apparently, if a search I did on Google a few seconds ago is trustworthy, there's even a new "Rule of the Internet" about this 'ponification' phenomenon (#85, for those curious minds out there). Like most fandoms, it doesn't really seem to be hurting anyone directly and people can choose to ignore the phenomenon if they wish to, but it's still quite amazing to observe how far a community is willing to go to celebrate/honour/parody this show.

Yeah, the Pony fandom crosses over everything. It doesn't surprise me though considering the sheer amount of stuff that comes out of it.
Anyway, I find it funny that no one is questioning why a guy in purpe medieval armour is standing in the flower shop :p
@Endark: that's not how I remember it =_= What you described may have been my intention, but either way I fail'd... If I do bring him back up, I'll probably grab a different Kamen Rider (or something else entirely) for him and start a new character instead of handwaving his absense.

Ponies with humans, ponies as humans...ponies with Doctor Who. I think...let me check...Yup. Ponies has crossovers with Horror too (Castlevania...I just checked).
I also just realized something else quite funny. Vectors can rip and dent steel plate, shred people, and throw boats...so Nana can certainly do a little crowd control with them
Always check the manual, and yes that picture is REALAnyone else in the sewers other than Flutterrush and Endark's characters?
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HOTTING HELPY!!Not that I know of, no.
Zero and Megaman can pass as humans, Pit could hide her wings, Kirby has been moved to the 'Former Main Characters' folder and Adannor's earlier words imply that he won't just be picked back up...so yeah, it appears that the sewer exploration team isn't all that large. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, though; Flutters seems to be doing well with close-quarters combat, my characters are doing a decent job attacking/defending from a safe distance, and nobody seems to be getting caught by friendly fire despite how cramped a sewer tunnel is usually depicted as.
I'm going to make the same question I've made in my other RP: are you guys enjoying SVV?
Well then, Alley, I hope you have a wonderful time. It shouldn't be hard to do, as long as you don't get seasick and know what an iceberg looks like, but I feel that I should wish you well regardless.
