I'd love to know what the guy in the Silkie costume was thinking when he did this part. Was he laughing his ass off, or was he thinking "Oh god what has happened to my life"
Chances are it was one of the writers and he was following his vision.
"We be we baby!"You think that's bad? At least that guy only had to do it once. It's no worse than going to a costume party and getting paid for it. Just imagine being into a freaking Mickey Mouse suit, with all your body chafing under Florida's or California's sun, having to breathe inside of that huge plastic thing that must be a murder on your neck after a while, all while enduring noisy brats asking you to dance with them and sign them autographs, day after day, to scrap a living.
You must have had a terrible time at Disneyland.
"We be we baby!"Nonsense! It's the happiest place on Earth. Ergo everyone inside its borders must be happy.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. The guy in the Silkie costume?
I really wouldn't be surprised if it was our very own Greg Cipes. It's something I can actually see him doing.
Re: this upcoming episode's TMNT crossover... still less horrifying than Michael Bay's versions of the turtles.◊
Pizza is officialy a G-Rated Drug in their universe.
"We be we baby!"I don't know how many of you remember, but the tagline for the original show in the first season was "Fighting for truth, justice, and the last slice of pizza". I'm surprised the writers referenced that.
Ironically, they could avoid the need to talk about that part and hook us with the great storyline. This just seemed to poke fun at itself, AND IT WAS GOOD.
"We be we baby!"I still remember that line, though I can't remember when the last time the Titans ate pizza in the original series.
With a '0', not an 'O'I remember them last eating pizza in the original series in the episode where Robin went on a training journey and everyone else dressed up as him in his absence.
Thoughts on this latest episode and its valuable lessons about money?
Didn't watch it due to fanboying out over SU/UG cross.
"We be we baby!"I love that they used the two Titans that are actually rich for the episode.
How did the bees hurt BB though? In the comic he could counteract venoms with his powers. At least he could in one story I read...
Basically what I got from the episode was that money is evil. Which is true depending on how you look at it.
If you go into this series thinking details from the comics are gonna necessarily carry over, you're gonna have a bad time. And were you even paying attention? Money isn't evil, bees are evil!
I wasn't really expecting the logic to carry over. It just confused me for some reason. *shrugs*
In a Bee's defence, the world would be screwed without them.
Not all of us watched Bee Movie, dude.
"We be we baby!"Man, you don't even need to watch Bee Movie to know that. I've known that since I was five.
I just don't like when people say bees are evil (even as a joke) despite how much Earth needs them. It's a weird pet peeve of mine, I'm not even sure where it came from.
Sidenote: If said person is allergic to bees, then I find it justified.
Okay, this episode was definitely hilarious. (I can't believe Warner Brothers got permission from Nickelodeon to do this).
Nick? Color me intrigued.
But I guess it's just a reference. This has been done with the show before.
"We be we baby!"So glad they referenced REAL 80's SHOWS!
Even ALF
"We be we baby!"I wouldn't find these past few episodes so disappointing if I wasn't eagerly awaiting the episode with Rose Wilson. I much prefer the episodes that either do something interesting with the characters or draw from the comic books to the completely random ones.
About last week's episode, I can see why this show's sense of humor gets so much hate. But I still enjoyed getting to hear Hynden Walch say "badonkadonk".
Original show was a Multiple Trick Pony, but this one? Not so much.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."
