Ok, show signs of being one. I mean "I'll be your daddy, even though i'm a woman" seems like they were really on the borderline between a very cute moment and a "subtle" nudge at what could have happened with Batwoman.

I just remembered, didn't Trigon use the Titan's Tower as a seat back in the original series?

The original relationship between Terra and Deathstroke never could make it into an all ages cartoon.

I for one won't let go of the fact that this episode was so dumb, I feel like this can be used as Lex Luthor's torcher device on the kid versions of The Justice leauge.

I'm not surprised that the MLP-inspired episode is the only episode that advocates non-violence and has the best writing for this series so far.

Eh,I thought the episode was pretty funny.Mainly Raven's fan gasming about ponies.Certainly funnier than a lot of the episodes I've seen of the show in recent times.

I still find "Be mine" To be one of the sweetest episodes whereas "Legendary Sandwich" is probably one of the only episodes where they're mostly on the same level of stupidity and "teamwork".

A thought just occurred to me:

As many of us would agree, Robin's obsession with Starfire in this series is almost the exact opposite of what was shown in the Original show; as in that series, Starfire was the one pining after Robin. But today, it just occurred to me that that scene in the puppet episode: the one where Robin is using puppets to express his feelings to Starfire, is very similar to a scene from "The Quest" from the original shows. In that episode, Starfire also used a marionette to simulate a conversation between herself and Robin, and when you think about it, what she did there was even more disturbing than what Robin did in this show; she was dressed up like her crush and talking to a marionette of herself

[up] I don't see how it was disturbing. OS Starfire was dressed up like Robin because Beast Boy convinced her it was fun. (Even Cyborg and RAVEN joined in on the “cosplay".) She used the puppet to express how she would have liked to be treated by Robin. (Being complimented.)

When Go-Robin uses puppets he's expressing his disturbing need to dominate his teammates and he made his puppet treat Star's as if it were an object that was around for his ammusment. Therefor making his feelings towards Starfire worrisome at best.

Go-Robin basically seems to view Go-Star as an object for his own satisfaction, whereas OS-Star wanted her version of Robin to notice her as more than a friend (via comliment) and acknowledged it while goofing around with friends. Under the circumstances OS-Star was just acting like your average teen girl.

All this talk over a fucking terrible episode! Really, I found it quite sad that GO-TT believe it's all fun to tease and mock the leader while all he wanted to do was look after his crew to ensure perfection. It can go into weird territory, but then again, everyone is a jerk:

Dick is an abusive power-hungry jerkass

SF is more of a diva ditz than being a strong, sweet heroine

Rave's been more bitchy and unbearable

Cy and BB are in so much Ho Yay territory, I consider this is mostly their show.

Not really. At this point, it's been 14 years and there's been way more overt examples that played it completely seriously (looking at you Season 1 of Korra.)

I could swear we've already seen Robin unmasked once or twice and he was pretty much okay with it.
