Vision is surprisingly a frat douche
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWhich is ironic given that in Ao U Ultron's personality is based on Tony Stark.
That first cover looks 'off', to put it nicely.
Another way of putting it is that it sucks.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.I can appreciate the idea behind the cover, but yeah, whoever did the actual artwork pretty well failed in making it look good.
Previews!
The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #6
The Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows #1 The first part's actually called "Why We Can't Have Nice Things". Funny. In a dark sort of way...
Giant-Size Little Marvel: AvX #1
Secret Wars #3 Ah-HA! Doom and Dr. Strange do remember the old universe!

Chipmunk Hunk's a real character who's really appearing in the comics? Yeeeeeeessssssss!
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I'm more excited for GSLM:Av X all things considered.
I swear, that "theme song" has gotta be a shout-out to songs like from Tiny Toon Adventures or something.

So is Squirrel Girl's comic gonna tie into Secret Wars at some point, or...?
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I don't think so. I think it's just going to keep going — probably with a nod or two to Secret Wars, but that's it.
God. God. I just finished Journey into Mystery. Real actual tears are streaming down my face. Jesus.
That was really good.
What happened?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI thought it was Falcon till' somebody called him Hawkeye.
Also, Koi Boy.
After Kid Loki gains the trust of everyone by saving the day, Old Loki sets it up so that Kid Loki must be erased forever and replaced with himself or else bad things. Kid Loki complies but ends up getting the last laugh because he managed to change his ways but Old Loki can never really escape narrative causality and do the same.
Really powerful stuff, even after I'd already been spoiled on how it went down ages ago.
That is weep.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAs is customary for people who've finished the book:
- Here's a link to Gillen's blog where he talked about the end.
- Here's the JIM playlist.
- Oh, and here is a fan letter in the last issue that you might've missed:
You and I see Loki the same way. He’s one dark, anarchic, bottomless black hole of rage, hatred, pity and pain. An exiled outcast, a lost and lonely agent of chaos who wouldn’t know what to do with familial forgiveness if it walked up to him in the street and slapped him in the face. I’ve had as much fun playing him as you’ve clearly had writing him. I know your run on Journey Into Mystery has been so hugely popular. What an enormous honour to share Loki’s legacy with you. Here’s to bringing Norse back!
– Tom Hiddleston

I love it when actors do something as class as that.
It is my fervent wish that in the MCU, Loki will actually die and then we can get Kid Loki.
I mean, this doesn't mean we would lose Hiddleston as Loki either because he can totally play King Loki.
Journey Into Mystery really was an amazing comic. Just incredible stuff. And one of the most perfect tragic endings in fiction. "Damn me. Damn you all." And the art! Stephanie Hans' art is stunning, and it kicks the story to another level of beautiful.
The feels. The feels. Just remembering it gets me tearing up a bit.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics. What? What part of that image shows they're bitter?
I mean, with the Secret Wars t-shirt, I could kind of see it, because they removed characters that were in the original cover (even though they had a good reason - they would have to share the merchandising money with Fox). But that poster is clearly a bunch of different characters that were put on one poster.
So I don't actually see any bitterness, just pragmatism is which characters they are promoting.

Wow, despite all the tie-ins, UNXM and ANXM ending and Cyclops being promoted as a big time character there isn't a single X-Men character from what I can see(the quality could be better).

What's more hilarious is Silver Surfer's book is supposed to be where the whole Marvel Universe gets rebuilt during Secret Wars, and the being responsible is'nt even on the poster

The fact that this isn't a real show with full-length episodes makes me sad.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.
