"Check you privilege."
My various fanfics."Thor, I am your father"
"Nonsense, my father only has one... shit"
Did we ever meet that universe's version of Loki in the original books by the way? I know Thor showed up.
A-Force was pretty cool. Asgardian Sam Wilson was awesome.
I agree.
Poor America though. Throwing a shark into a zombie land should get you a get out of Game of Throne reference free card.
Not much to talk about but its interesting that Loki was Nico and America's surrogate mother.
And I wonder why Medusa criticized She-Hulk for summoning the Namors.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI just read everything under those A-Force spoiler tags, and the degree of clear It Makes Sense in Context to all of it completely negates the spoilers. Like, how could I possibly not want to find out how any of that makes sense?
Erring on the side of caution. Some people really don't like spoilers.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersYay, America Chavez is Ms. America now!
I know Gillen and Mc Kelvie regretted never having her change the name in YA.

That's going to run out of ammo in, like, five seconds.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI think he can keep it fed on account of him being a God of War.
"You can reply to this Message!"That would make sense.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersSays on the A-Force page that America was banished for breaking Doom's laws...
I thought Arcadia was ruled by women? Feminist paradise. Down with the Patriarchy. That sort of thing. Did they pull a Thor on Viktor too?
Should probably actually read this series, but I like to wait for collected editions. Buying comics one issue at a time ain't my speed.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Doom rules over all of Battleworld except for beyond the wall, and if you upset him that's where he sends you. And you are thinking of Hala that is the down with men place, arcadia just has more female heroes.
A-Force was good. I always love seeing Ms. America get to be badass. Throwing a giant shark miles across an ocean and over the Shield definitely counts as badass.
Loki includes the line, "My lightest nap is of more import than your entire life!" I just love that line. Also, we finally see Loki take a female form just because. This is the first time that's happened. Now, I'm satisfied with calling him gender fluid. Also also, that last page. Badass. It's like something out of the '90s, but a version of the '90s that didn't suck.
Master of Kung Fu is really cool. Cool premise, good writing, good art.
Planet Hulk is pretty good.
Spider-Verse has an interesting set-up, and cool characters.
Battleworld: The Punisher story was fun. The MODOK story was awesome. So many MODO Ks! 1602 MODOK might be my favourite.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.I haven't read it but panel scans of Deadpool's Secret Secret War seems like a remake of the original Secret Wars. But with Deadpool commentating on everything.
Forever liveblogging the Avengersthats what its supposed to be. what if deadpool was in the original secret wars
That's cool. I might have to read it. Eventually.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIs there a way to see just what Battleworld titles are currently out? Because I have no clue how to tell. (I don't really frequent comic shops, don't you know.)

Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundIt's incredibly meh. It's similar to the classic Deadpool #11, when he found himself in a '60s Spider-Man comic. But Bunn is nowhere near as funny as Kelly, and while Lolli is a more talented artist than Zeck, the premise would work better if the art was closer to Zeck's style.
Edit: I found this checklist on Alliance Comics. It goes week-by-week and says what's out. It only covers May and June, though.

X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics. You can never unsee a Baby MODOK
"You can reply to this Message!"Gillen talked music and mentioned Magik:
“There’s something about the slightly-off-seduction-ness of it that I thought: that feels like my Magik, as in there’s something very pretty but very wrong about it. But it was only near the end of my run that I realised, no, if you actually listen to the lyrics, this is just the plot. This is just Magik’s plot, in terms of what she does to Colossus."
“’We all get hurt by love/And we all have a cross to bear/But in the name of understanding now/Our problems should be shared.'”
“Magik put Colossus through this living hell to make him understand, ‘this is what happened to me and I am no longer here’. She knew on some level that he would never let her go free because he would never give up on her, so it was kind of in his interests to destroy him. It’s the only way he would ever leave her alone and get on with his life. That’s dark, but it’s also basically one-for-one what the lyrics say.”
New Mutants Annual #2 has a pretty awesome "World of Cardboard" Speech from Firestar:
"You want power, you say? Do you have any idea how much power I have? How much I have to hold back to keep from accidentally losing control? You wanted to see some power? You got it! Your equipment's fried! Communications scrambled! Utilities down! Would you like to see what I can do to human flesh?"
Firestar can be pretty damned badass.
