Is it Mermaids The Body Found or Mermaid The Body Found? Also, it should be in Film Name Space.

Meh I still remember when Animal Planet used to make nice documentaries about well, animals.
Instead, I have learned a horrible truth of existence...some stories have no meaning.

You leean a LOT.
- Navy exercises are still believed to be the culprit of whale beachings
- "The Bloop" is a real phenomenon, though no one knows what it is
- Humans are adapted for sea life more than any primate and most mammals.
- Dolphins really do help fishermen with nets in some island countries, driving fish into nets, and don't even panic when they get caught in nets, because they know they'll be freed - and the fishermen reward their help with feeding them half the catch.
- The biology of the mermaids is a good lesson in taxonomic forensics.
Like Lost Tapes, you do learn a lot.

Struck by some Fridge Brilliance - if these creatures were real (it's a Mockumentary), and use dolphins like dogs, it would suddenly made perfect sense why dolphins would be friendly towards humans, and even save drowning people. They recognize humans as relatives of the aquatic hominids.
