Giving a look-see at our page, I'd be correct to say Firestorm is more of a nuclear superhero than a fire one. Right?

Either way, he looks like good fun. I'm not so sure if in execution Firestorm will play like a long-range character as they said, though his fireball's insane speed says otherwise. He seems like more of an annoyingly speedy hit-and-run character who gets quick shots in whenever possible.

It's definitely Jason Rusch. For starters, Ronnie Raymond is white, and this Firestorm is now. And Jefferson Jackson is the same as Felicity Smoak: a minor Firestorm supporting character that the Arrowverse made more important.

I'm sure we'll get Ronnie and/or Jax as skins. What I really want to know is if we get to hear Stein in his match dialogue. :P

And yeah, Firestorm's powers are not, theoretically, strictly fire-based. But they kind of are in practice, since if he used his transmutation powers more often, he'd be extremely overpowered.

Could be the New 52 version, which is Ronnie and Jason. That's what I'm betting at least.

Unless something changed later, Ronnie and Jason were separate Firestorms that could combine to create Fury. They did not combine into a single, united Firestorm like the one seen in the game.

It did change later. By the time Earth 3 invaded, they were merged as Firestorm, not as Fury.

Eh. I still don't think that's likely. It makes more sense given what (admittedly little) we've seen in-game, and how Firestorm is depicted on Legends of Tomorrow for it to be Jason and Stein.

I really do hope we get Ronnie and Arrowverse skins though. And Deathstorm. Actually, I hope we get a bunch of Crime Syndicate skins, or even armour sets for those it makes sense on (Ultraman, Superwoman, etc.).

I'm definitely in favor of Earth 3 skins. I'd play as Power Ring in a heartbeat (even if I prefer the Jessica Cruz version over Harold Jordan).

Firestorm's character page is up and it's indeed Rusch. Always nice to see another hero on Batman's side instead of trying to help the Regime.

Damn that's a lot of characters yet to be revealed.

Who does Superman have in this game, besides Wonder Woman and Cyborg? Supergirl's on his side at first, but a lot of the dialogue we've seen so far implies that she switches sides at some point.

I feel like the Society is going to be the bigger non-Brainiac threat in this game. Lack of world government, rise of anarchy, next thing you know there's a team of supervillains or something.

Wow you're right. Are there twenty remaining character slots? Assuming that the DLC and skins are on there, that's still only eleven. Who do we know that are in haven't been added and who were leaked?

I'm beginning to loathe the relationship developers foster with the competitive gaming community, I really am.

More importantly, while it doesn't sound like it's going to impact the game that much, the idea that you can "save time" after leveling your character once and paying for the rest of them not counting as an advantage sounds funny. It's not "paying to win," no, it's "paying to save on the time that some other chump will spend powerleveling."

So, I mean, yes, it's technically not paying to win. I'm glad they were clear about that.

Bleh. This is frustrating to hear after they kept saying "there will be zero microtransactions in the game, in any capacity".

The only bright side is that they flat out said there are some premier skins you can get through playing the game.

Skins and shaders still drop in the game(probably aside from the Ultimate Edition ones). Only thing you can't do without SC are level boost(which is a thing in a ton of stuff like Wo W and Destiny nowadays) and transmog which is purely down to how much you like the game/characters.

I do not remember them ever saying there were zero microtransactions. They said you would not be able to buy gear.

This is a mechanic you see in a lot of MM Os where players are expected to create a lot of characters but leveling new ones takes forever. Just skip to level X and distribute stats as you want. Since X is the same level everyone else is seriously playing at, rather than paying to win you're basically just paying to get into the

I'm probably going to skip it though. Even if it's tedious at times, I've always found the leveling part to be fun. Like fostering a connection with the character you choose to use. Must be the Pokemon Trainer in me.

Anywho, I think we're going to be seeing a lot of Firestorm in addition to Deadshot online.

Also, as a random note I really like Killer Croc's design in this game.

Finally watching the last couple streams. So next week we're seeing Robin and a character they've announced but haven't really shown yet. I guess that means Bane or Brainiac.
