Yeah, we're literally never going to agree. Your favourite Superman characters are the ones I find the most boring. The way I see it, why focus on a racist soldier when there's people like Brainiac, Bizarro, and Mister Mxyzptlk around.
I mean, he's Nightwing for the same reason Superboy was killed in Infinite Crisis: because at some point, Dick Grayson became the heart of the DC universe. Nightwing was already in the game, but the Insurgency couldn't have heroes on its side, and Dick would never join the Regime. But if you want Nightwing in the game, then he has to at least make courtesy appearances in the plot. So...Damianwing.

I'd like for Fate's supermove to be something deliberately Played for Laughs, such sending the opponent into a M.C Escher staircase room and falling up the stairs and onto the walls. They then fall through a door in the floor which rotates to become the ceiling and are sent back to the map.
I do have a feeling I'm going to be maining Fate (and Supergirl). Can't wait to see some gameplay for him.

I never have any idea who I'll main until I play for a while. I started MKX with Johnny Cage before switching over pretty exclusively to Mileena out of fucking nowhere.
Meanwhile, I want to main the Flash in Injustice, but I'm terrible with him, and very recently (like, last week) discovered that Zatanna is a blast to play.
I tend to either get an instant feel for the character just from watching gameplay (Green Arrow and Triborg, for example), or decide from the beginning "I will kick ass with you, you beautiful bastard" (Smoke in MK 9 and Mileena and Tanya in X).
Supergirl I got a feel for from the gameplay, and Fate I've decided I'll devote all the time needed to use him well.

Edit: No gameplay yet, if at all. But the characters are Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle.

I like the design, but his expression there is very derpy.
Also, story details about Supergirl: she came to earth between games, and plays a role on both sides of the conflict.
Like most NRS characters, better at a distance.

Some quotes from the panel:
"Lots of you requested Blue Beetle. So glad to make that happen for the players and fans."
A young fan asked about Red Hood, and Boon said demand for him was nearly as great as Blue Beetle. Members of the Suicide Squad may also show up, and not just in DLC.
"There's absolutely a chance" that Zoom will appear in the game, Boon said, in a voice that suggested that Zoom will absolutely be in the game.
GGPO and tournament mode have also been confirmed.
On the question of format, Boon said "I think it's pretty likely" the game will be ported to PC.
Boon says we can expect 30+ characters in the game, but I don't know if he's accounting for DLC or not.
"Scorpion was the most downloaded character in 'Injustice,'" Boon said when asked about "Mortal Kombat" character DLC in the new game. "We'd be stupid not to [do it again], but it probably won't be Scorpion."
Boon said that the expansive roster of the game means a lot of favorites will show up. "I bet if you guessed ten characters you thought would be in the game, you'd probably get seven."
After Boon asked who wanted to see Beast Boy in the game, La Marr joked "the only people booing are the people who have to animate it."
Costume changes will change your character altogether. I.e Power Girl costume for Supergirl. Tons of cameos featured via costume upgrades.
Tournament mode will have gear and mods disabled to keep things even. Tournament mode will still feature variety of looks, just with no abilities.
Likely to see surviving cast from first game.
Gamescom in Germany will be next big reveal.

Hm. I'm not sure where I stand on Damian as Nightwing.
On the one hand, it shows that he's trying, in his own way, to make up for accidentally killing his brother. Plus, he's a bit old to still be Robin.
On the other hand, it isn't an identity he's ever had before, so it's kind of weird.
