I think the image on Hit Flash would be improved by showing a before and after shot as well; currently it's just a blur and a caption.

Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!

I tend to agree...a before shot would be sufficient.

I think zero frames would be better than three.

I'll see if I can get some stills from the Bugs Bunny cartoon "The Heckling Hare." It'll probably end up looking terrible, non-indicative, or both, though.

I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn!

I prefer the current image to the one three I cobbled together. The trope description is pretty short, so a smaller image is ideal for this page. There doesn't need to be a before shot or an after shot on the image, because the image is already what a Hit Flash frame looks like. Oh, and the "Haredevil Hare" example is way funnier in real time.

[up] Oh yeah, I forgot that was this trope. Might as well just use one of those. smile

Which one? Or another single-flash one?

Personally, I just like the sheer variety of written sound effects that appear in the classic Batman show...

Well, I couldn't find a good Hit Flash picture that actually said bump, so I'm just showing off the two suggestions I have.

I kinda prefer the first one, as it also shows hitflashes with scenes in the background.

First one looks fantastic.

This is gathering dust and we've got some consensus for the Batman pics, so I went ahead and put up the first one. Locking up.
