^Most of these don't look like something clickable.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYeah, the Mario examples look like you still have to steer the character to the locations (even if that's not the case). The two Kingdom Hearts map images I see on the site look more like the trope, but aren't very good screenshots.

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.I'd say to throw up a crowner. Too many good suggestions.
Crowner's hooked.
@Septimus/banana: Methinks you're taking the name too literally. Not many game systems have a free-pointing input device to literally "point" and "click" with, so you end up moving a cursor with the directional pad.

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.image is from Jeanne D Arc.
And no, I get the moving the cursor with the d-pad thing, and that would definitely count, but your suggestions to me look like you have to use the character and move them along the line in order to select a location.

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.At least in SMB 3 and SMRPG you move the character along the lines, it's not point and click.
This is starting to look pretty conclusive...if there's not a flurry of downvotes by tonight, we can go ahead and call it.
Alright, we're ready to rock and roll. The pic's up, potholed, and tagged; caption at will. Locking up.
