When I say very anti-uniform, I mean that, if any of the schools I went to had a uniform, I would A: refuse to wear the uniform, and B: try and change which school I was going to.

It never happened to me, so yes, I assume so. Then again, a lot of my OCs wear uniforms...

I also find it odd that the kids wear casual clothing, since most of the schools here (Scotland and England) have uniforms as far as I know.

That's true, but considering that they're in the wizarding world and not the muggle one...

But they'd still have muggle sensibilities, have a muggle background, and be more connected with muggle culture than wizard culture.

Yes, the wizarding world would be a big culture shock for them.
Another thing I wanted to discuss is NPC characters. I plan on roleplaying most the NPC characters if it's okay with all of you, but if you want to roleplay some NPC characters, that's fine.
I'll roleplay the Sorting Hat.

I dunno. I guess compartments and rooms seem to stick closely together in my mind for some wierd reason...
Room is 4 letters. Compartment is 11 letters. We save 7 letters each time we choose to write room over compartment.
Sums it up pretty well.
