I love Recttear but as pictured, it's just two girls and a guy, one of them saying CAPITALISM HO. i.e. this has nothing to do with a shop that sells things that no one but you, the adventurer, need.

There's a woman in Legend of Legaia who complains about how shops are selling only weapons for fighting when they used to sell meat and vegetables.

Doesn't illustrate the trope. The trope is that in-game shops only sell items that the player needs; the image is three people talking. That's completely unrelated. Any in-game shopping screen would be a better illustration, such as this one.
