A lot of people seem to think that Disney airs new episodes sporadically for no reason but didn't Hirsch say he only wanted three seasons?
So by stretching out the episodes they make the show longer artificially for maximum cash revenue. Sort of like when Sponge Bob ended the first time and Nick stretched out season three over 4 years, but less extreme.
This is the signature line, right? Why isn't it working? I'm trying to sign this but it's just leaving pen marks all over my computer! Two seasons and a movie, actually. He changed his mind after finding his very fist season to be draining.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatThen we better get a damn good second season (for all of the hard work being put in here, otherwise!), overall. I'd hate to see this awesome show go out on a whimper.

Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.Honestly? Season one was the first season of the first show Alex Hirsch has ever run. It's possible season two will prove to be less of an adjustment and he'll get used to the production process enough to be okay with a full-fledged season three.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. We'll see how it goes.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.Maybe this show will help Hirsh branch out. Like how chowder was a short series to Greenblatt and he went to work on other things after a short run.
I like what I'm seeing in that preview.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectFantastic interview.
These guys put a lot of thought and love and effort into this show; Season 2 won't disappoint. And I can't believe it's only a day away!
There's something insignificant written here, but because it's insignificant, you didn't read it.I've waited soo long for this, after barely surviving 3 hiatuses and an agonizing year of waiting it will be all worth it when my 3rd favorite cartoon on the air right now finally shows us it's second season to us. I have been watching the SDCC trailer a lot, anticipating the season and two things have crossed my mind.
1:Is this season going to be darker than the first because it looks like it might which I can get behind because their is still quite a lot of material the writers can use with this and as long as their is some great action I am on board with this.
2:Is Wendy actually going to do stuff this season because it looks like she might. I like her and want to see her treated better than in season 1 and maybe actually get legitimate character development instead of being Dipper's love interest and with Hirch saying he would cut back on the romance this season this could be the case.
3:This animation is really good and is a noticeable improvement from the first season.
I can't wait to see episode 1 tomorrow, episode 2 on Monday and see the rest of the season. I just hope it doesn't have the 9 pm 9:30 pm time slot on xd because it appears to be getting episode premieres on mondays and since school is starting up soon that wouldn't be great for ratings. Hopefully this is only for the summer and when school starts up it changes and stays at 8 pm either that or goes back to friday premieres either is fine with me.

"If you look for the light, you can often find it. But if you look for the dark, that is all you will ever see."Does anyone know when the new season comes to Canada?
Peace is the only battle worth waging.1. Probably. I'm willing to bet 'yes'.
2. From that interview, I think so.
3. Sweet.
4. Season 1 premiered in Canada about a month after it did in the states, so maybe a month-ish again? I don't know.
I was hoping that the premier wouldn't overlap with the new episode of Korra because I wanted to watch that too...until I learned that Korra is no longer going to be on TV for whatever reason. Guess that's one problem resolved.
Will the Disney Channel show Episode 2 on Monday like XD or at a later date?

There's something insignificant written here, but because it's insignificant, you didn't read it.Episode 2 will be shown on Friday of next week on DC.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.I'm glad that season 2 will cut back on the whole "Dipper trying to impress Wendy" romance subplot. The fact that it seemed like it was getting more focus than the paranormal stuff in season 1 is one of the main reasons that I was disappointed with the first season.

...eh? I agree we could've done with a couple fewer episodes about it, but Hirsch has pretty much said outright that the characters' emotional arcs are, in his eyes, more important than the supernatural stuff. So if it's not Dipper crushing on Wendy, it's gonna be Dipper having emotions about other stuff. I'd get used to that now if I were you, otherwise season 2's gonna be real disappointing.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Well, it's not exactly the fact that it focuses a little on those aspects that bothers me. I think someone on deviantART put it best: this show has an interesting setting, but felt like for most of the first season, they made that a background note and focused more on the typical pre-teen angst stuff that could be found in any other setting.
I feel that I would have been more satisfied with the show if they had balanced it out better with the paranormal stuff; as in, having them both but having personal growth stuff as a background thing, being noticeable and playing a part in the way the characters act and the story develops, but not overtaking the main story. Instead, it felt that most of the first season was just filler. I don't have a problem with filler per se, I just have a problem when it overtakes the main intrigue, which is unfortunately what happened with this show for me at least.
Thankfully, it seems that the whole romance triangle subplot was more-or-less dealt with at the end of season 1, so there will hopefully be a better balancing-out of personal growth and adventure. If not, well, I didn't really find season 1 that amazing anyway. I thought it was just okay, nothing that bad, but nothing that amazing either, which is a real shame considering how much I was enjoying it at the beginning and was looking forward to seeing how the show develops.
The premise of this show was what kept me watching, since I have mixed feelings on almost all the other aspects, but now, since it wasn't really focusing on what I thought it would, I really don't care one way or the other. I know it's probably selfish of me to judge a show based on what I hoped it would be rather than on its own merits, but that's unfortunately how I feel. If I don't find season 2 to be any better, then, well, I won't really have any reason to continue watching a show that I personally find merely average and mediocre in comparison to what I feel it could have been, and will stop spoiling you guys' fun and I'm afraid I'll stop watching the show if that ever happens. So in order to avoid Hype Backlash this time, I won't get my hopes up and I'll see if I can hopefully enjoy the show as much as you guys.
Wendy did kind of disappear towards the end of the first season, so I hope they give her a much more active role in the second season.
And I think the love triangle stuff was actually resolved in a good way. Robbie was clearly not a great guy (although it's slightly ambiguous if he actually knew that the recording had subliminal messages), but Dipper trying to get her on the rebound that quickly was a dick move as well, and the show was willing to call him out on it.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectPac will make a play for Dip in the second season.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."Does anybody know what time the premiere airs?
