Wildcard noticed he had missed a call even he was climbing up the ladder, and called back.

Robert looked at phone to see who was calling; apparently, it was the same number that had called just a little while ago, with said number belonging to —

"Wildcard, that you? Weren't you going to wait for Arguma?"

"Yeah," Wildcard said, "but it says here I missed a call."

"...Huh. Well... Tell you what; I've got nothing better to do right now. How about I drive over there, see what I can do, and if you're not there, then Arguma's picked you up already. Better yet, if Arguma does pick you up, call me so I can turn the hell around. Is that good with you?"

"Did you at least tell him where I am?" asked Wildcard. "Because no offense, but I think he's a lot faster than you in that fancy spaceship of his"

[up]"Yeah," said Robert, "just a minute ago...

"...And that's where Wildcard is. Hopefully, you'll be able to pick him up. If not, I'll do what I can. Call me if you have any questions." And with that, Robert hung up... only for Wildcard to call him not long after...

"So," continued Robert, in the present, "yes, he might get there before me, but it's better to always have a backup."

"Cool beans, Bobby," said Wildcard. "And I hope there's a team coming, cause just one person - hell one dozen people - probably won't be able to sift through this place even if they had a week. Oh, and the coroner. And probably an ambulance or two. Coroner first, though. Before you hang up, though, I wanna talk about that Nazi broad we brought in. What have you and Scio found out?"

"Nothing so far," said Robert. "Though I don't think there's anything to find out. I suppose we could work more on her later, but right now, let's deal with the situation at hand. I'll get a team together, and we'll meet you over here. Besides, even if Arguma gets there first, there should still be cleanup to do. Anything else?"

"Nothin?!?" Wildcard said, both angry and curious. "Son-of-a-bitch ripped something out of her brain-box, and refused to tell me anything until I got a few bullets pulled out. I swear I could have felt that bastard smiling from ear-to-ear behind that mask of his."

With an actual location, Arguma was able to fly the Exile to Wildcard's location in short order. Before landing, he took the proper steps to ensure that when the humans came aboard his ship, they'd be breathing their own air, not the atmospheric composition that his lungs were used to. It was only one of the reasons why he generally didn't offer people rides aboard his ship.

Once the ship was prepped for whatever transporting Wildcard needed, he de-cloaked the ship and landed near the heros location.

[YOU NEEDED A RIDE, WILDCARD?] He asked as the door to his ship opened up.

"Uhh, hold on Robert," Wildcard said into the phone. "He called out to Arguma. "Yo! Big guy! Can you zap this jackass a few times with your stun gun and lock him up somewhere?" He kicked the old, naked man in the stomach.

What he liked about Arguma was that he didn't ask too many questions. Someone else, upon seeing a vodka-soaked hero with enormous bloodstains littering his clothing as he kicked a handcuffed and unconscious old man with no clothes would have been worried. But not Arguma, he was all business.

"Oh, and then you need to zap a few people downstairs, take them out of their restraints, and lock them up too" he added. "They're supposedly being held against their will, but for all I know they're completely bonkers now, or they were serial killers to begin with."

[MY SHIP DOES NOT HAVE A BRIG.] Arguma answered. [IT WAS DESIGNED AS A TROOP TRANSPORT, NOT A PRISON SHIP. I CAN STUN THIS MAN, BUT LOCKING HIM UP WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.]

He shot Wildcard's prisoner once with a stun blast, then began looking for the stairs Wildcard had spoke of. He found them easily enough, and began to head down below.

"And let you have all the fun?" Wildcard said." He dropped the old man down the ladder, and jumped down next to him. Then he started dragging him by the right foot with his left hand as he slung his sack of uzis over his right shoulder, following Arguma. "I've had enough of being left out."

[IF YOU INSIST.] Arguma said. Stepping aside, the Q'oton let the fellow hero step ahead of him to take the lead. [SINCE YOU APPARENTLY KNOW THIS PLACE BETTER THAN I DO, PERHAPS YOU SHOULD GO FIRST SO I KNOW WHERE TO GO.]

"Well, uh," Wildcard said at the bottom of the stairs. "There it is" He pointed out the door and into the lab. "I don't really know what else there is here."

[AH.] Arguma replied, having expected something more. He passed through to the next room, not entirely sure what to expect beyond something about experiments and people on tables the he was supposed to be worried about.

Kenichi scratched his head and said "I don't really know any of you anyway, so it doesn't really matter who I go with. Anyway, we should probably hurry up; no matter what our situation was like before, it's only a matter of time before they find out about their Charity's wounds."

Whoa. Isaac thought. That's not what they call me on the news! I'm the Devourer, not the Destroye-oh right, focus. Dr. Reich does want to drive Nuclo insane.

Just in case it came up later, Isaac went back to the main menu and pressed 3.

Charity nodded at Kenichi's statement - they couldn't really waste time.

"Okay - I'm with Dax," She stated, "And I wouldn't mind working with Freefall - no offense but I saw her at the prison op."

'Phase 3' read as followed:

'Completion for my new Death Ray is almost complete. I do not ever wish to use it, but if the heroes find out about my plans, I will likely need some self defense. But that will be the only case I would ever use it in — unlike that monster, the Captain... But, he is not important right now. My current plans are. '

The place was more or less as Wildcard had described. So far as he had described it, at least.

[I SHALL START CARRYING THIS PEOPLE UPSTAIRS.] Arguma said as he considered the best way to handle the situation. [HOWEVER, I CAN NOT CARRY THEM ALL AT ONCE, AND SOMEONE WILL NEED TO WATCH OVER THOSE WHO ARE UPSTAIRS UNTIL I HAVE GOTTEN ALL OF THEM.]

"Whatever happened to 'Arguma the Living Tank?'" asked Wildcard. "Your zapping stick out of juice? Just blast each of these guys, then we'll tie them up with some of these coats lying around - not like the dead guys still need them. I bet you could carry them all up in one go. I'd have preferred to wait for a team, but if you're in a hurry, that should work, right?"

[MY WEAPON IS STILL FULLY FUNCTIONAL.] Arguma answered. [BUT UNTIL WE CAN CONFIRM THAT THESE INDIVIDUALS ARE AT ALL DANGEROUS AND NOT INNOCENT VICTIMS, I WOULD PREFER NOT TO STUN THEM IF I DO NOT HAVE TO.]

Going to the two nearest tables, Arguma picked them up and began carrying them out of the room, figuring it would be better to continue speaking as he went.

[MY 'ZAPPING STICK' IS A STANDARD SIDE ARM AMONGST THE ARMED FORCES THAT I CAME FROM. OUR EQUIVALENT OF A PISTOL, DESIGNED TO BE ABLE TO STUN OR KILL OTHER MEMBERS OF MY OWN SPECIES. WHICH MEANS, BASED ON HOW MUCH WE CAN TAKE IN COMPARISON, THAT IT IS FAR MORE POTENT AND FAR MORE UNPLEASANT WHEN USED ON YOUR SPECIES FAR MORE FRAGILE BODIES.

I WOULD PREFER NOT TO SUBJECT THESE INDIVIDUALS TO THAT IF I DO NOT HAVE TO.]

Reaching the outdoors again, he put the first two tables down and waited for Wildcard's response before continuing.

"Well," Wildcard said, dragging the old man and his sack of Uzis outside again, "I guess if you're leaving them tied to the tables then you don't have to zap 'em."

[THAT WOULD BE THE POINT.] Arguma replied. [I RESPECT THE CAUTION THAT YOU WISH TO SHOW TOWARDS THESE POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS INDIVIDUALS. BUT I WOULD PREFER NOT TO SUBJECT THEM TO ANYTHING WORSE IF I DO NOT HAVE TO. IF THEY SHOW SIGNS OF BEING DANGEROUS AND LOOK LIKE THEY MIGHT BREAK FREE, HOWEVER, I WILL BE INCLINED TO CHANGE MY MIND.]

Convinced that Wildcard understood where he was coming from and willing to help him out as he had requested, Arguma began to make his way back to the room to start retrieving the rest.

[IT IS ALSO WHY I NEED SOMEONE TO WATCH THESE INDIVIDUALS WHILE I GO INSIDE AND GET THE OTHERS. WE NEED TO KEEP EYES ON THEM, FOR BOTH OUR SAKE AND THEIRS.]
