Suggestion: Punch Clock Villain

Not that the actual image is bad, but I just think this would be better

I think the current one is probably one of the best images on the wiki.

I can't look at the OP right now, but I'm gonna have a hard time thinking it'll be better than the current.

The suggestion doesn't make it clear that either of them is a villain unless you know the context. The current one is much clearer.

Now, I'm all for the classic Looney Toons cartoons getting some love, but I'm afraid that I'm in favor of keeping the current image.

I love Looney Toons, but unfortunately that pic falls pretty close to JAFAAC territory.

Now that I can look at the OP suggestion - great example, poor image...good for Image Links or for linking directly in the example list, if Sam and Ralph are there.

Sure. Wasn't hard to find, considering it's easy to place in the story, and since it's colour, it's a Sunday strip.

I replaced the current pic with a direct crop of the panel from the comic; it's not as desaturated, but the roughness of the lines is part of the artwork and I don't think there's anything that can be done about it.

So, since pretty much everyone prefers the current one, it's been improved, and the thread is a few weeks old, time to lock?
