Ahh, best show ever. I'm sure most of us can pretty much quote the entirety of "The Germans."

Heh, nice timing. I just watched the show for the first time a few weeks ago. It is definitely one of the best sitcoms I have seen, extremely well-scripted and very funny.
And I don't know about quoting the whole episode, but "The Germans" is my favorite. Possibly because I am one.
My favourite episode is Communication Problems. Everything about that one is perfect.

I would have to agree with that. Mrs Richards is absolutely wonderful. My second favourite is probably Basil the Rat.
Anyone else find this show kind of hard to watch? I love it. And it's hilarious.
But I can only take so much vicarious humiliation. When I know things are going to be particularly disastrous I just have to look away.
Ohhh, Communication Problems. That was priceless. Basil was actually being awesome there.

Seriously? One of the greatest comedy shows ever has no topic of its own???
My parents let me watch this when I was a kid, and I'm pretty sure it was one of the biggest factors in developing my love of British humor. It's been years since I've seen it, but after looking up the car thrashing scene on You Tube, I'll soon be fixing that.
