I don't get it...
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.I'm not sure how we'd go about pic'ing this...agreeing that the current kinda sucks.
Motion to pull
Doesn't adequately demonstrate the trope.
Yeah, I have no clue what's going on in this image.
Reaction Image RepositoryWell, it might have trouble with the memory part, but it captures the crazy well. (Homer's recollection of the town meeting about gambling)
Belief or disbelief rests with you.
Definite improvement, at least on the "crazy" part.
Well, improvement, at least. It does look as if Homer's the one imagining it, considering his glance and how he looks.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Would that picture with the caption "How Homer Simpson remembered the last town hall meeting." be viable? I know the caption is pulling some of the weight, but it's definitely not pulling all of it.
Oh, BTW, I support the motion to pull. I have no idea how the image even relates to the trope. The caption somehow makes it worse.

Belief or disbelief rests with you.Bumping this. Does anyone object to the suggestion in my previous post? or have a better image to suggest?
Belief or disbelief rests with you.Supporting pull, but I haven't got any suggestions. The Simpsons one is only marginally better.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I like the Simpsons pic.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Yeah, the simpsons pick makes a lot more sense
I can get behind the Simpsons image.
I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn!Yep.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Clock is set. The Simpsons pic has some consensus, although it's not strong...go with that or just leave the page without a pic for now?
The Simpsons pic is alright. Not great, but better than nothing.
I also think "How Homer Simpson remembered the last town hall meeting." (as suggested above) is an okay caption.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Works for me.
I vote for the Simpsons picture.
And we're done. I see it's already been added to the page, so I'll tag it and lock up.
All I can see are hats, luggage and a bicycle. No indication that this is a memory, and I can't figure out how it's supposed to be crazy. I'm sure we can do better than this. There's probably loads of pictures with a flashback on the same panel as the real deal.
"Oh great! Let's pile up all the useless cats and hope a tree falls on them!"
