God damn this is a tough one to get across without well the text covering everything...
My only idea..... and its not very good.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I'd rather have something along the lines of the current image where it looks like a godlike/otherworldly being.
God like or Eldrich Abom and such does not mean immortality.
But as I said it wasnt really great.... It might fit better on The Mind Is a Plaything of the Body though.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!No but it looks more like it. The manga image is just some girl talking and doesn't really show the trope.

Agree.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. Is there really any way to show the trope? It seems like no matter the context, to get across this information in an image, there needs to be text/dialogue noting the trope in effect. I like the image of Evangeline, and do prefer it over the current image — mainly because the subject seems more like a non-human deity-esque being comically acting like a nerd than, well, an immature immortal. Eh… I take issue with using something that (at least visibly) is only vaguely humanoid. It's harder to classify cosmic entities and such as "immortals" in my opinion. To paraphrase Bakemonogatari, "most supernatural creatures are not truly immortal. You can't be immortal if you were never 'alive' to begin with." So, calling the space-person there immortal bugs me a bit. Regardless of the context of the image in-series, (which I do not have), the image doesn't particularly work for me. And on the "immature" side of things, if it isn't human, how can you say it that it is immature to begin with? It isn't a person, what does "maturity" even mean for/to it? Again, this is excluding any context from the series of origin — these are surface issues, which is why they bother me.
Well, those are my two cents, anyways.

Does anyone have a picture of God playing with the Earth from Monty Python's The Meaning of Life?
At the very least, Evangeline makes for a better image than the current. It's not saying a whole lot about their qualities, though.
