You technically shouldn't, but I'm leniant so I'll let you as long as you don't pick a specialty while it happens to be relevant.
Umm... just what sort of relationship are we talking about here....
hashtagsarestupidYeah... not the best thing to hear out of context...
Then again, I've seen worse.

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Seriously, the nature of the starting relationships is up to you guys. For forging new ones, we'll see what happens during role play.
Oh, just a thought. I think in Boast Busters, Trixie chased the Ursa Major away from Hoofington and into the Everfree Forest. Maybe we could have Hoofington be the place we start in, because it's at least somewhat hinted at that it's close to the Everfree Forest. We know Trottingham exists, just not where it definitively is.
I could go either way, though, just throwing it out there.

"Don't worry, murder is a sign of affection." - An amalgamation of DunsparceTrixie claimed to have done that but lied. Still, you have a point. Okay, Hoofington's fine. I was just worrried about interfering with the foils project, but it shouldn't be a problem.
Meant "claimed to have chased."
And I didn't know the foils were taking place in Hoofington.

"Don't worry, murder is a sign of affection." - An amalgamation of DunsparceIIRC, that was the decision, but fine, I might even use some of the stuff that was decided there.
I did a quick check of the Workshop and that seems to be the case.
And curious, has much been decided about the Foil!Mayor?
"Don't worry, murder is a sign of affection." - An amalgamation of DunsparceOh wait! That's right! That was the main reason that I didn't want to use the foils stuff! The mayor there is a villain! I have a different backstory in mind for this mayor.
Ah. Back to Trottingham, then.
"Don't worry, murder is a sign of affection." - An amalgamation of DunsparceI came up with a much simpler way to balance the HES system. Instead of having upgrades to individual rows, just have two variables - number of rows and number of dots per row. Not only is this simpler and more balanced, but it also gets rid of a ridiculous exploit possible under the current wording of the rules (specifically, putting tons of dots in the last row of Health to give yourself massive health and sanity regeneration).
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Playputting tons of dots in the last row of Health to give yourself massive health and sanity regeneration
Then again, at that point, you'll either be unconscious, extremely fatigued, or rather irrational.
And what do you mean by regeneration?

"Don't worry, murder is a sign of affection." - An amalgamation of DunsparceHmmm...Despite crowlover's point, I think that you really have a good point there. It's much simpler and less exploitive which is a good thing.
This means that I have to decide on the new pices then though. I can probably make it cheaper than it originally was due to the fact that it was pointed out to me that HES was significantly more expensive than everything else.
I'll think about it unless anyone has a suggestion.
Alright, for this new system, I have a suggestion for how you would determine how many points to add:
Adding a row would be 2r + p points where r is the number of rows and p is the number of points in each row.
Adding points to each row would be 2p + r.
And I'm partially suggesting this system because adding points in it is communative.

"Don't worry, murder is a sign of affection." - An amalgamation of DunsparceAdding points to rows should be significantly more expensive than adding new rows, so maybe I'll cheapen the cost of rows to just r.
That might work.
I might even drop the price of increasing rows to just 2p.
Alright, I'd personally recommend keeping it communative, especially now, which would mean keeping the second coefficient for those equations the same.
"Don't worry, murder is a sign of affection." - An amalgamation of DunsparceWait, communative as in related?
If you think so. Ok.
I mean as in it would cost the same amount of points to increase the number of rows, then the number of points in each row as increasing the number of points in each row, then the number of rows.
If that's what you mean by related, then yes.

"Don't worry, murder is a sign of affection." - An amalgamation of DunsparceAh. Well, yes. i want that if possible, but my suggestion of 2p and r should have that effect.
Just making sure we understood each other.
Time to go adjust Clouds' HES...
Along with some other things.

"Don't worry, murder is a sign of affection." - An amalgamation of DunsparceAnd what do you mean by regeneration?
Say you start with 5/5/5/5/5 and are spending 100 points on health. You want to put as many points into the second to last row as possible, for example, 5/5/5/5/14/1. With the rules as written, as soon as you get down to this row, you'll have 14 Health and 28 Sanity regeneration per day. In fact, in some cases it's even beneficial to hurt yourself before resting to take advantage of the extra healing.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayWow! Thanks for noticing that! Still, the adjustment from earlier should solve that.
Okay. See what you mean now.

Okay, Specialty-wise, because I have a feeling this will end up happening, is it possible to not take a specialty originally, then decide on one later? And if so, when could you do this?
