What I gots so far for my character, unicorn Magic Knight guy. Reposting:

Alright, I got a character. A Magic Knight Warrior Monk who as a young colt witnessed his village and people (including his family) burned to the ground and destroyed by evil dragons. A group of knights take him under his wing, and he's taught their fighting styles and magic spells. He grows to be a stoic and deeply religous warrior who preaches Celestia's holy name and kicks ass in Her name.

.....still a work in progress. I should do some researching around for litanies/verses and work with them to involve Celestia.

For anyone who hasn't played a d20 system game, I would suggest reading over the basic Microlite20 rules. That should make it easier to understand the basics of what's going on here.

Should I post what I have so far? The complete build will have to wait until we actually have skills to choose from.

I was going to do Pendulum the inventor...but I think I'll do a Chuckles expy instead.

A Prench EP ninja clown with amazing acrobatic, parkour and fire breathing skills...pick pocket and cat burgler.

Are we ever going to categorize the cutie mark alignments, or do we just make those up if we go, and the GM decides what skills fall under them?

I think we'll just need the GM to decide.

My general idea for a character would be a Dex based hand to hoof combat specialist.

Zecora seems to do some crazy martial arts of some sort, my character would likely have picked up a few moves from a Zebra in the city she lived in and adapted it for use in flight.

Wait...if I made him a Pegasus...he could that scary bat form!

Don't think I'll actually be playing this RP, but I can help out.

Did we ever decide whether we're going to go with 60/65 or 70/75 for the base stat total?

After looking at the 75 point build, I'm thinking it might be more than we actually need. After all, with 65 points, I have two skills at 16 and 14 respectively and only two scores under ten. It makes things kind of interesting.

My scores using the 65 point build: STR:10 CON:8 DEX:10 WIS:14 INT:15 CHA:8

And using the 75 point build: STR:14 CON:10 DEX:12 WIS:15 INT:16 CHA:8

In my opinion, the former has more interesting roleplaying potential.

Yeah I think less is more...better...too.

Well we should definitely have it more than 60 so you can have something above average without dumping everything else.

maybe split the difference and use 65/70?

With 60 Points Id probably go with this... feel free to mock it

• CHA - 8
• CON - 11
• DEX - 14
• INT - 9
• STR - 11
• WIS - 7

Unless we are using 8 pts as minimum and not 6, where I'd probably move 1 point from INT into WIS

Stats for my unicorn paladin based around the 60 point build:

.STR/10 .DEX/8 .CON/12 .INT/10 .WIS/12 .CHA/8

Looking again, 65 as the base number of build points would be best. It allows for a bit more flexibility. I think you would proba bly want a high CON than 12, Freeman, or maybe a higher strength. Afterall, Paladins are meant to be pretty solid and you'd still want to land a solid hit.

Here's the initial build for my unicorn warrior. Subject to change, obviously.

60 point build:

• STR: 9
• DEX: 11
• CON: 9
• INT: 14
• WIS: 10
• CHA: 7

65 point build:

• STR: 9
• DEX: 11
• CON: 11
• INT: 15
• WIS: 10
• CHA: 9

70 point build:

• STR: 10
• DEX: 12
• CON: 12
• INT: 17
• WIS: 10
• CHA: 9

Looking over it, I like 65 as the point total. 60 is a bit low, but 70 seems overpowered.

I'm alright with this.

potions I assume would be under craft potion. I plan to have that as one of my primary skills. Or alternatively under the heal skill.

using the 65 point build, or 70 as Stinging Nettles is an earth pony:

Str: 10

Dex: 12

Con: 10

Wis: 15

Int: 16

Cha: 8

I might swap Dex and Str.
