[up]Cool, just know that the closest s/he could've gotten to knighthood before fighting in the war would be a body guard, or a peacekeeper. Human society as a whole is more focused on their technological advancement then on combat.

Alright, I finally have a character ready.

  • Name: Allene
  • Gender: Female
  • Race: Human
  • Appearance: Allene has shoulder length brown hair, with the back of it tied up in a very short ponytail. Her eyes are blue in color and her build is athletic as befitting a knight. She wears what would become the traditional knight's outfit in a dark blue tone.
  • Weapon: Sword and Steel Shield.
  • Item: Grappling Hook
  • Occupation Prior to the War: Allene had aspirations to become a knight... though for now was simply a bodyguard for researchers.
  • Instrument: Bugle or Trumpet. Carries the first due to it being more portable, knows how to play the second.
  • Backstory: Allene is... not a terribly bright girl, something that didn't go very well in the scientifically advanced human culture of the day. Not exactly dumb, but certainly lacking in her understanding of the sciences not to mention how she had a bright adventurous spirit made her decide to join a bodyguard guild to learn how to fight and thus earn a chance to travel around the world. She took very well to the training, showing impressive resilience and quite an aptitude for combat. Still, when put to work she was finding her job as a bodyguard boring seeing how her services are hardly ever needed, not to mention how the scientist depend a lot more on the security of robots. Still, when the time for action came Allene was not found wanting. She, together with some robots managed to defend an installation against one of the early attacks of Demise's forces, with the young bodyguard proving herself a reliable guardian.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.

Question: Which race would be most suitable for a mage build? I'm thinking of using the Magic Rod and the Spellbook from the original Zelda games, so... I'm thinking either the Humans or the Sheika?

Sheikah. They have what you could call a... Technomage society, thanks to their service under Hylia. Humans, on the other hand, are normally too busy with their technology to care about magic.

  • Name: Silan
  • Gender: Male
  • Race: Sheikah
  • Appearance: Silan, like all Sheikah, has red eyes and a tan skin. He has short, red hair and is rougly 1.70m long (about 5.6 Feet). His outfit closely resembles the second-left one (That is, the guy with white hair. And yes, I'm too lazy to search for my own pic. :P)
  • Weapon: A Magic rod. The normal attack shoots out a elementless magic blast, the special attack requires extra magic and a Magic Book to be active, but adds an element to the Magic Rod. The Fire Book he currently has can be used to set enemies ablaze (Generally just causing a bit of extra damage), burn wood and light distant torches. On the flipside, if an enemy is immune to fire or absorbs it, the entire attack becomes worthless. If Sil runs out of Magic power, the rod can be used as a makeshift club, though this is nowhere near as efficient as actual melee weapons. (As a sidenote: the Magic Rod has the same 'unbreakable' affinity as just about every other weapon in the Zeldaverse)
  • Item: A Magic Book of Fire, a bottle pre-filled with a Magic Potion
  • Occupation Prior to the War: Magic researcher. (Or whatever the equivalent is in this universe)
  • Instrument: Marimba
  • Backstory: Silan was mostly just doing his thing before the war started. He both studied magic for his own good and for the Sheikah society's advance. Honestly, there's not much to tell about him; both his parents are still alive, he's not married, doesn't have children (Which is common to unmarried people, but not absolute, so meh) and isn't planning on getting either in the forseeable future.
