I started another conversation about this, but made the mistake of putting it under Not Tropeworthy. It was locked so quickly I didn't get the chance to admit that was hasty of me.
OK, here's the thing; a former troper came across a video
, and reacted in a way that got him banned. Thing is, the video, and that former troper* had a point. Parts of that page, including the description, make TV Tropes look bad.
As Fast Eddie so succinctly put it when he locked the other conversation, "Since January 1, 2011 this article has brought 64,349 people to the wiki from non-search engine links". So, removing it is out of the question, since it's technically good for the site. But parts of it, including the description, come off as creepy or perverted at points.
