Welcome to the planet Alternia, home of the glorious troll master race! Here, troll children of all ages spend the better part of their lives enjoying all the wonders this marvelous planet has to offer. From fun games such as Fiduspawn, to extreme sports such as live action roleplaying, a growing troll has everything they could ever need here. From a young age, they are taught to build glorious hives, and are taken care of by hideous monsters called Lusus Naturae. When they reach adulthood, the trolls go off to conquer other planets in the name of Alternia.

However, it is not a perfect world. Trolls are a nocturnal species, as Alternian sunlight is so intense that very few can withstand it. What's more, heinous broods of the undead crawl from the sand dunes at sunrise, feasting on light and the living. These creatures are called shadow droppers, and they will not hesitate to eat any unfortunate troll who comes their way.

As of recent times, the shadow dropper outbreaks have gotten quite out of hand. Not only that, but they have somehow developed a way to disguise themselves as trolls. Many troll communities have been debating on what to do about it. Here, we shall follow the story of one such community...

>Become Acquainted With Rules of Game

• The game has three phases, the primary two of which are Day and Night. Each one lasts ~24 hours, and each has different actions pertaining to them, which shall be explained below.
• During the Night Phase, players decide who they will lynch, preferably in the format Vote: [player name]. The person with the most votes at the end of the day is lynched. If one player gets the majority votes, the Night ends early and that player is lynched. If nobody is voted for, Kodi II is killed. In the event of a tie, the lynch will go to whoever the Tealblood voted for, unless the Cobaltblood uses their power.
• During the Day Phase, the shadow droppers decide who to target next and PM me their target. As well, any trolls whose powers activate during the Day may also PM me their actions. If the Day ends before someone PM's me their action, then their character does nothing. If I receive PM's from everyone, the Day will end early, and then the cycle repeats itself.
• There is also one third phase, the Twilight Hour. This is the small space of time between the Night and the Day, when all votes have been cast but I have not yet posted the lynching narrative and officially started the night. During this time, discussion is still allowed, but no more voting may be done. There is one role whose power activates during this phase. At the Twilight Hour, the Cobaltblood may use their power to manipul8 the votes in their favor.
• Players who have died are allowed to commentate, but they cannot discuss the game or use their night actions unless they are a gh0st or a Rainbow Drinker. They also cannot cast votes unless they are a Rainbow Drinker.
• The game ends when all the shadow droppers have been killed, or there are the same amount of shadow droppers as trolls, in which case they kill all the others and make their escape.
• PM'ing players about your role, or the game in general, is cheating: You can still PM other players, but keep Werewolf/Mafia conversations out of it.
• Forum rules still apply in this game. Any breakage of the forum rules will result in a quick and painful death, along with whatever the mods feel like dishing out.
• Don't be a dick. That's just not cool yo.

>Delve Deep Into Alternian Culture

There are two factions: shadow dropper and troll.

Troll roles

Troll society functions on a blood-based caste system, where the color of their blood determines their place in the caste. Each troll has a different blood color, and each color has different psychic powers attached.

• Burgundy: Troll peasantry. Redbloods are often plagued with the voices of the dead, and have even been known to linger on Alternia even after they should have long gone. Each day they will receive a PM from one dead player, chosen at random. As well, when they are killed, they continue existing as a sp00ky gh0st, able to do anything they could do in life except vote.
• Bronze: Troll peasantry. Bronzebloods have the special ability of cOMMUNION with the beasts of Alternia. Each day, they may send their animal friends to track another player, finding out who they targeted and who targeted them. Can also target themself.
• Yellow: Troll lower class. Yellowbloods tend to be very hiigh level p2iionic2, able to move objects at incredible speeds and fire beams of light from their eyes. Each day they may target a player and provide them with energy, allowing them to use their power(s) twice in one day. As well, if they are targeted by another player, there is a chance the attempt will fail and the targeter will get knocked out.
• Olive Green: :33< Troll middle class. Olive is perhaps the most common blood color, and trolls of this caste usually have no psychic powers. Their only power is their vote. Olive gr33n is not a creative color!
• Jade Green: Jade blood is very rare among trolls, and those with this color are usually given a very special role. Jadebloods are one of the few who can withstand the harsh Alternian sun, and know how to fight the undead monsters that haunt the dunes in daylight. The Jadeblood sees all actions perfomed in the day, but not on whom. If they are targeted y the shadow droppers there is a chance the kill will fail, and a smaller chance they will kill a random dropper instead. Upon death, the Jadeblood returns to life as a Rainbow Drinker - However, this has a 50% chance of changing their alignment.
• Teal: Troll higher class. Tealbloods are often contracted as legislacerators - Alternian lawyers/bounty hunters. They are excellent speakers, and are able to move crowds with their words rather than psychic powers. Each day, they may target a player to learn of the lies they have told, or question H1S HONOR4BL3 TYR4NNY (aka me) about the game's setup (such as "how many shadow droppers are there?" or "Is there a Violetblood?" and the like), as well as a one-shot kill. Their votes also count for two and can decide ties.
• Cerulean: Troll nobility. Cobaltbloods tend to be very powerful psychics, developing such abilities as mind reading and mass maniplu8tion. Each day they may target a player and learn their role, or choose a target for them. If they manipul8 a shadow dropper, bite marks are left on the target and the original dropper action goes through. Cannot manipul8 gh0sts or higher castes. As well, one time only, during the Twilight Hour, they may control the minds of the lynch mob, shifting the votes in their favor.
• Indigo: D—> Troll nobility. Indigobloods tend to be very, very STRONG. However, they are also very, very adherent to the caste order, and would never use their STRENGTH against a highb100d. Each day they may protect a player from being targeted. However, if their target is also targeted by a Purpleblood, the protection fails and both are affected. Can self-target. (Also the color for this one is the same blue because we only have one)
• Purple: Purplebloods are the highest of the land-dwelling trolls, ruling over as subjugglators. They have powerful ChUcKlEvOoDoOs that can manifest nightmarish creations in someone's dream worlds. Each day they may target a player, and the horrible nightmares instilled in them would leave them unable to use their power, and also unable to vote the following night.
• Violet: Troll royalty. Violetbloods live purely underwater, and hold a bitter rivalry with the land-dwelling trolls. They are also extremely prone to vviolence and acts of murder -However, many of them often have someone to calm them down, and keep those vviolent tendencies in check. Any time they have at least one vote against them, a secret invisible vvote will be added to their tally. The Violetblood will be connected to another player - chosen at random, and the chosen player will be notified of this as wwell. Once that player dies, the Violetblood will go into a murderous frenzy, able to kill one player each day. As they are an outsider, the Violetblood will show up as a shadow dropper if investigated by the Cobaltblood. The Violetblood wins only if both them and their moirail are alive at the end of the game. (Also I used pink for this one since we only have one purple)

Shadow dropper roles

At sunrise, the shadow droppers reveal their true forms and crawl from the sand dunes to feast on the light and the living. There are many types of shadow droppers, each with their own special powers. These shall be detailed below.

• Pan Eater: The more mindless form of shadow droppers, these can be easily detected by their rotting flesh and constant call for think pans. Pan eaters operate through a sort of hivemind, mostly taking orders from the higher-ranked droppers. They have no special abilities.
• Death Screamer: The dreaded servants of the Handmaid, death screamers roam the land shrieking at the top of their lungs. Anyone who hears their screech will die within the next three days. Anyone who targets them will be cursed with death, and will have a 25% chance of dying right then and there, a 50% chance of dying the next day, a 75% chance of dying the second day, and 100% chance of dying on the third. If manipul8ted by the Cobaltblood, both the Cobaltblood and the target will be cursed with death, along with the usual bite marks.
•    Soul Trapper:    In life, soul keepers were powerful trolls who utilized clockwork majyyks to keep their soul in a jar and ensure they would return to life after death. These spooky scary shadow droppers usually lead the others, commanding them to their whim. They get the final say in night kills, and the first time a power is used on them, it will fail.
• Invisible Trickster: A very rare breed, these creatures would be the most horrifying things known to trolls - if they could see them. They are identifieable by their annoying laugh and penchant for dirty tricks. Every day, they have a different ability chosen at random, including but not limited to: Turning (Can smash a pumpkin over a target's head, turning them into a Trickster for a set time (said time varies depending on blood caste). A Tricksterified troll's powers will work very oddly and unreliably), Jester (If they are lynched or nightkilled, they are able to take one of their assailants with them), or Annoying Laugh (Can use their laugh to disorient a target, bypassing their defenses for the nightkill).
• Rainbow Drinker: A very special breed of dropper that radiates light and feasts on the blood of other trolls. While they are technically shadow droppers, there is a 50% chance that a troll will keep their alignment after transforming into a Rainbow Drinker. The Rainbow Drinker can drink the blood from a fresh corpse (one killed no earlier than the previous day), and borrow their powers for a while. The Rainbow Drinker cannot be killed by shadow droppers. If manipul8ted by the Cobaltblood, they will use their acquired power on the target instead of the usual bites.
