True. I just don't like him as well as the previous ones.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Ehh...he's a caricature of the "hunk". A parody. Parodies make poor page images when they're not universal tropes or clearly parodies. It's good quality, though.
I think Gaston works. Even if he is a parody, he still illustrates it pretty clearly.
I also like Gaston- the big bulging muscles sell it for me.
I thought there was a limit to how "Muscly" one could be to fit this trope?
I think that picture crosses it big time.
Something like Aragorn◊ imo would work.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Image hosted by tripod is the sexiest thing I've seen all day. I vote for that.
I just picked an aragorn image randomly off google, any image of Aragorn or Hugh Jackman[1]◊ would probably work.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Is Hugh Jackson too spicy for Tvtropes? Rwor.
Right side only.
At wiki size I don't think it will be readable.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!The right half is only 330px wide.
I still prefer Brawny. Makes for a better example, and less risk of upsetting poor people's tender feelings.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. The right half of the last Brawny suggestion could work. Although, "No one does this trope like Gaston!" came to mind earlier.
Yeah, the full-body image shows it better. It's just that while a wide jaw and eyebrow on the portrait implies hunk, it doesn't depict it. For images, we want depictions.

Evil is my favorite color.I honestly don't know how a single person could think the guy with that neck, shoulders, and jaw wasn't super muscular.
A full-body shot is better for other reasons love ;D
Still in favor of Mr. Brawny.
One vote for brawny
Self promotion, ahoyAnother Brawny vote here.
Okay, I put up the two-part Brawny pic from the first page...is this or the last suggestion the one that people are voting for? It's not loading for me.
Great! I don't think it needs a caption with the years stated there.

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. The Brawny slogan is "The strength to get things done."
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Eh, I don't think that really works for the trope.
He fits, though.
