Saw some of the new show. This just makes me think it somehow takes place in the same universe as the Teen Titans cartoon. And yes, I'm aware the art director was heavily involved in TT.
Anyone else thinks that while they trying to show us as many aliens as possible, only Omniverse guys are getting any decent screen time? Feedback appeared in every episode with young Ben and Bloxx is literally showing every two episodes.
Better than Humongusaurus
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Xan-Xan/They'll get some more variety later, I think.
"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all" Futurama, GodfellasI agree. I was super grateful when Derrick mentioned not using Jetray or Fasttrack in the first forty episodes, partly because I don't really like them and partly because I assumed that meant the older aliens would be getting more screentime. While Feedback and Bloxx are infinitely better than Fasttrack, I'm still annoyed by how often they've shown up so far.
Anyone saw the new episode???
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Xan-Xan/I did. Not bad one, but worst one so far. Boring filler without good plot, action or jokes. Hokestar lost his source of elixir (AND his sidekick was arrested) and now I feel bad for him. Not enough Rook. Just forgetable.
I find it strange seeing a hippie Wildvine being given the Wildvines in Secret of the Omnitrix
I like to think that some aliens like wildvines and vulpamancers are partly sentient and partly animal....if that makes any sense
Part plant actually. And general rule says, if its in Omnitrix its sentient, if in Nemetrix its animal.
I could see Wildmutt being the one life form in both.

So, any re-design you have MAJOR problem with. My top 3: 3Megawhatts have chins, 2 NRG looks like walking trash can, 1 Some bastard stole Grandpa Max eyes.
I have more problems with Alien X's chin though.
If a chicken crosses the road and nobody else is around to see it, does the road move beneath the chicken instead?I'm glad to see Animo back in his old non-buff, goofy form.
"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all" Futurama, GodfellasNope, cannot get used to the new art style, too cartoonish, they could at least used the Ben 10 original style
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Xan-Xan/I'm a lot happier with cartoony art-style than with the bland as all hell UAF animation.
"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all" Futurama, Godfellasi thought the style looked ridiculous at first, but after seeing it in motion ive become a fan. the animation is fantastic and a lot of the fights are very well done. im glad they ditched those crappy alien force redesigns for 4 arms, diamondhead, etc. it makes way more sense for the umnitrix to adapt the users current outfit. im also glad they decided to give some of the naked aliens clothes.
dont really care for the old school parts of the show. i never cared for the original series and this just reminds me why. young ben and gwen are waaay to annoying and obnoxious. i prefer the rather laid back teens they matured into in alien force. dont know why people thought they were boring. ben in alien force was one of the best heroes in western animation.
hopefully the series isnt too episodic. this last animo episode was pretty weak.
Hmmm, does Armodrillo have any drills? I don't recall anything from Ultimate Alien that would imply so, but his Omniverse artwork shows he can spin his claws to do so.
Not really, they were lways more of jack hammers. But apparently they changed it to make his name more literal.
I hope they make a Giga Drill Break reference with it.
Am I the only one annoyed by how utterly arrogant and begrudging Ben is with Rook? In the Animo episode, he makes a big deal about asking for help vs. expecting it whenever he's in trouble. Even at the end of the episode, he almost seems like he doesn't actually want to ask Rook for help, but knows that he has to anyway.
Also, I'm really annoyed by how the Omnitrix never turns him into the right alien. None of the other versions of the Omnitrix were anywhere near this bad.
I like the buddy cop dynamic Ben has with Rook. He really needed a foil to support him in battle, but still show off his personality and alien forms (the real draw of the show should have been the alien forms, not Kevin and Gwen's blandness).
I don't get how you can complain about him being arrogant with Rook when he's always been a cocky bastard. Why wouldn't he seem moreso when he's working with a rookie who he's admitted to not want as a partner.
I agree that the "oops, wrong alien" gag is overused, but it does make things more interesting when he has to work with a random form and adapt instead of the old "smash 'n' blast" of UAF.
"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all" Futurama, GodfellasYes, he's always been arrogant, but never to this extent in the other seasons. It's like the personality from his 10-year old self was transplanted into his 15-year old body.
Haven't checked it out yet, but I must admit that I am loving these new character designs.

If you wanna PM me, send it to my mrsunshinesprinkles account; this one is blorked.
When I first heard Gray Matter's voice all I can say is ugh. I really need to get used to the art style though. But then I can get used to the art style of the later seasons of American Dragon: Jake Long.
