Could someone explain that lever punchline to me? It reads as full non sequitur to me :I
Honestly I'd recommend another capton. It reads as a lame attempt to get around fair use by putting the punchline (and only line of dialog of the missing panel) in the picture.
We have permission from the artist to use and modify the full image, though. We would have to worry about Fair Use if we hadn't got permission.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I like the dialog from the third panel with a pothole to the source.

Instead, I have learned a horrible truth of existence...some stories have no meaning.How about; "A common mistake when dealing with elves." plus a link to the source?
