My local used bookstores are good for both books and movies. I can get movies and video games secondhand at a few local shops.
I don't own a television, well. It's in storage and I'm thinking of selling it anyway. I can play movies on my computer.
Youtube gives me my news, international and otherwise. Sometimes a movie if someone is kind enough to upload it. My anime tv shows are streamed online nicely.

Books for when I need something to get my teeth into, music from Itunes or running/walking when I want to get lost in my thoughts. Plumbing the depths of Youtube and horrific Fan Fiction when I need some dumb laughs.
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.
