You know it really says something that the best part of the movie didn't actually happen.

[up]See, 'cause the action scenes in Sucker Punch were almost entirely superfluous fantasy sequences.

Haven't seen it yet. Been intending to for a while, though, if only to hear the supposedly either great or awful cover songs in it.

[up] Except the Eurythmics version wasn't even in that movie.

The cover in the movie sucked, in any case...

I'd rather see them in context first, but thank you anyway.

[up][up] Like I said, I've heard mixed things about those covers. Besides, I tend to often like covers that people don't like (I see nothing wrong with Shania Twain performing a countrified version of "You Shook Me All Night Long"), so I might be surprised by what I hear.

I don't see Sweet Dreams as part of the soundtrack at all. So was a non-Eurythimics version the cover or not? Or are they separate?

That's kinda what a cover is, a version not done by the original artist. All the songs in the film are covers of other songs, to my understanding, sung by the actresses from the film?

Hey, Doug, and Rob's review is more positive than I expected. Apparently, it's going back to it's hilariously and enjoyably bad roots.

If you wanna PM me, send it to my mrsunshinesprinkles account; this one is blorked.

This seems like the most appropriate place to put this.

Does anyone have any clue how much blood a vampire drinks, and how many Vampires are left in North America? Cause I have a bit of a pet theory on how the Vampires in Twilight could end homelessness in the United States overnight.

Well, when you put it that way, it's certainly a modest proposal.

You guys either have no idea how big the homeless problem is in the US, or have no clue what donating blood is.

I'm talking about the vampires publicly paying the homeless top dollar for their donated blood. Before you object, tell me how this is different to how giving blood works in the US now.

And you seem to be entirely too serious about discussing this theory of yours. I'd suggest finding another thread for this (which, considering the nature of your inquiry, would actually be kind of amazing).

[up][up]It's different because in real life people don't give their blood to mythical creatures.

I think Christina Perri is the best thing to happen to Twilight. A Thousand Years has more feeling to it than the movies it was written for.

Oh, thanks. Shame it's got to be associated with Twilight.
