If we get Full Dive technology by 2022, I will freak the fuck out.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Hopefully nothing like the AIDA virus from Dot Hack happens (would arguably be worse then what happens in SAO).
Watch SymphogearLet's face it, sci-fi exists to warn us about the potential dangers of new technology, pointing out the flaws and the risks as well as the benefits of proposed ideas. Of course, all too often, the sci-fi writers wind up proclaiming a Cassandra Truth, like Megaman Battle Network pointing out why we don't want our appliances hooked up to the internet. If SAO has taught us anything, it's that full-dive technology has a world of applications, but it is not without its risks: besides the obvious product tampering risk that can apply to just about anything, full-dive technology exacerbates the already real risk of dying because you're too obsessed with a game to take care of yourself, being deprived of sensory input creates the risk of not noticing a break-in or other emergency threatening your life or health, and sensory input from a full-dive could result in negative psychosomatic effects. This is without even considering any physiological effects an abrupt disconnect might have.
Ordinal Scale confirmed for nationwide event on March 9 via Fathom Events.
So I just saw a clip of what looked like Asuna and Kazuto kissing except Asuna was wearing a wedding dress and Kazuto was wearing a white tux and they appeared to be on an alter.
Can someone tell me when this happens and the context behind it?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!May just be a pin up. Link?
Yeah, it might just be a pinup.
Oh, wait. I was looking through the comments and that's not SAO but rather Oreimo. Fucking generic ass character designs.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Finished reading Volume 9, and it seems that Rath is trying to create chaos in a world without Original Sin. The Underworld denizens cannot even be tempted to violate any law.
Okay, according to the wiki, Cradle of the Moon is a side-story set in Underworld during HEC 382. This places it during the Alicization Arc.
I saw that in my suggested videos list.
I'm not proud of that and I'm sending Youtube a very nasty letter about it.
This is the first time I've been interested in Accel World since I watched the first 5 episodes. Much as I might envy the guy's success at least he's taking advantage of the crossover potential of both franchises.
So they start off by showing Kuromynameistoolongtosay and Kirito, my two least liked characters of both franchises, and the former isn't even the main character last I checked. In fact... Haru Yuki appears less in that opening than Kuroyuimpossiblylongname.
The plot seems to be AIDA or Morganna or a similar viral entity capturing Yui. I'd assume it's something from Accel World's side.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Kuroyukihime's name is just a pun on the Japanese name for Snow White.
As for why its Kirito contrasted with 'hime, well in Accel World she (and by extension the as yet unmet Graphite Edge who taught her) have several moves that share names and similar executions with some of Kirito's SAO era techniques.
Also if they're using ALO era designs, everyone can fly, which kind of takes away from Haruyuki's uniqueness as he's the only player in Brain Burst who has that ability. Also Black Lotus vs Kirito: The Black Swordsman provides a colour match where as Haru has no one with a distinct silver colour scheme to counterpoint against
And there's the fan theory that Hime is Kirito and Asuna's kid...
Kawahara thinks he's going to cover the entirety of SAO in the Progressive series. At the rate he's going, he won't live long enough to finish it.
Maybe he plans on using a deep scan machine to upload his brain onto the Internet so he can live forever.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! That's one theory I really hope isn't true. Because between her effective parental abandonment and her deeply dysfunctional relationship with her sister, Kuroyukihime's family is kind of messed up.
Of course, there's a major philosophical debate about whether that's even theoretically possible (i.e. whether or not the mind you uploaded to the internet would actually be you, verses a copy of you). And yes, SAO did address this in part, because while Kayaba's ghost at least appears to believe he's Akihiko Kayaba, we don't have independent verification of this, or even any discussion of a way to tell the difference. And there's the rub: if the uploaded mind itself cannot tell whether it is the person who was uploaded or merely a copy of that person, no one else could either. If the process is fatal to the person's body, the one seeking it would have no way of knowing if he is pursuing immortality or suicide. My personal opinion is that such a thing amounts to attempting to steal the fruit of the Tree of Life, and that Adam and Eve were exiled from Eden to prevent them from doing so, lest they become immortal in a state of moral corruption. I'm all for the multitude of medical applications of technology, including VR, but I'm convinced that nothing good can come of using technology to seek immortality.
Honestly, that's the problem with transporter technology and, when you get down to it, any break in the stream of consciousness (like when you go to sleep). And that's not even getting into the whole Ship of Theseus thing.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! No, sleep is definitely different. The mind retains its integrity through periods of unconciousness, otherwise dreaming would be impossible.
Reading Progressive, I can tell that the biggest problem the players have is they're thinking like gamers and not like soldiers. It's an understandable mistake, but it's also a deadly one. A soldier would prioritize teamwork over personal strength, because he's relying on his squadmates to keep him alive. A soldier also wouldn't settle tactical disputes by dueling. In war, ego gets people killed.
Kirito seemed to do just fine focusing solely on his own strength outside of boss battles.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! And he admits that the other players have a legitimate gripe about beaters.
What legitimate grips?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Rushing off to the best hunting grounds and quests, and overall not being team players. Granted, the major guilds have their own issues with regarding each other as adversaries.
We already have Sleeping Knights.
