It's been a while.
Wow, even stupid thinks Sword Art is fans.
GIVE ME YOUR FACEThe Cardinal System is literally Godlike. No Joking, is THAT good.
Watch me destroying my countryAn AI that can learn by trawling the web and create quests and even entire areas... >.>
Yeah, the more I think about it Cardinal sounds more and more bullshit.
You gotta start somewhere.I don't know. Already, bots account for the majority of internet traffic, most of which is from search engines calculating word associations. Given enough processing power, programs that can write their own code don't seem all that far-fetched. 2022 might be a little early, but there's nothing unreasonable about it. The only logical reason I can come up with that nothing like the Cardinal System will ever be built is that such a program would be too dangerous because it could start playing games with reality, and even then, the series accounts for this by crediting its invention to a suicidal psychopath who pretty much wanted to do exactly that.
Anyway, I just finished reading the Caliber side story, and it turns out the whole argument over Excalibur's name in the anime was a bad adaptation due to being cut for time. It makes much more sense in the light novel.
It was created for a Supergenius in a nearly superhuman level. Is actually easy to accept.
Watch me destroying my countrySo I'm guessing this is old but... Sword Art Go?
Once again a 17-year old high school student is called upon to face a problem the Japanese government/military apparently can't handle. And once again a terrorist is using an online video game to wreak havoc.
It's like Terminator and NT Warrior have taught Japan nothing.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Cardinal must have insane learning and memory capabilities. It definitely has a context parser to scour downloaded wikis and reference websites, an archivist function to collect them, and a quest generator that utilizes the information gained in context to formulate quests in-flavor (GM intervention to autobalance quests optional).
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!
on the bright side it looks like the whole gang will be involved.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaMaybe I should start a blog called, "Don't You People Ever Watch TV?"
So it occurs to me that Jun should be admitted to the SAO Survivor School as a transfer student once he gets out of the hospital. After all, he's bound to have missed about three years of school, given that up until April 2026, he thought he was going to die, and the use of Full Dive technology for education is a recent development anyway. He's the same age as Silica, so they'd be capable of accommodating him, and the SAO survivors are pretty much the only kids his age he could relate to. Also, I think he'd appreciate having access to the school psychotherapist, what with most of his friends dying and Siune not keeping in touch.
Besides, the school may want to justify its continued existence. If only SAO survivors are admitted, then the school will shut down when Silica's class graduates, but they could admit students who had missed a year or more of school for medical reasons instead and thereby keep the school open.
New Ordinal Scale trailer with English subtitles. Looking great! Also a new Hollow Realization game trailer.
And in rather surprising news a crossover game was announced Accel World VS Sword Art Online - Millennium Twilight - for PS Vita & PS 4.

Blog - TumblrSo, somebody (who appears to be an antagonist) has the black book of what happened in SAO. I'm still of the opinion that Argo wrote the SAO chronicles, but there may well be some information in there that could be dangerous in the wrong hands in ways even she wouldn't think of.
I honestly want that book be desfictionalizated.

Watch me destroying my countryIt appears to be multiple books. We know there's a book called "The Black Swordsman," and from it, the username Kirito is made famous. This one apparently is a black book of the SAO guilds. Could be that this information is harmless on its own, but coupled with a bit of information obtained from other sources (Shouichi Shinkawa perhaps?) could be very dangerous. Example: blackmailing player-killers. We know that in the raid on Laughing Coffin, 18 Laughing Coffin members were killed by players other than Kirito. We don't know how many of the raid party killed people, nor how many of them survived the game (no telling if any of the players who killed Laughing Coffin members were killed by other Laughing Coffin members during the raid, nor if any among them fell to The Skull Reaper). This is to say nothing of the green members of red guilds or the actual red players.
So, we finally get to see Shoichi's real face, courtesy of Girls Ops. Also, Gwen seems to be Yandere for Lux. She gives indications that she has never desired to conform to traditional morality of any sort.
Volume 19 will be released next month. The title is Moon Cradle. No word yet on whether this is a new arc or a book of side stories.
Please dear god let it not be the latter.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!The Alicization arc ended? How'd it end?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Alicization plot introduction on the Wiki:
By June, 2026, Kirigaya Kazuto (Kirito) was offered a job at a private enterprise, named Rath, by Kikuoka Seijirou, the VR crimes division member who Kazuto had been cooperating with ever since the end of the Sword Art Online incident. The job was to test out a 4th generation experimental Full Dive machine, called the Soul Translator (STL), which ran on completely different principles than the Full Dive machines before it. His job was seemingly simple: remain in continuous Full Dive during the weekend and his memories of the testing would be blocked as a security measure. However, unbeknownst to him, the company was not actually testing the machine itself, but creating a special Bottom-Up type Artificial Intelligence (AI) for military use. For that reason, the company had copied the soul of a newborn baby and made it as a template for creating new AI, which would then be nurtured in a specialised virtual world, called Underworld, where time flows a thousand times faster than in the real world due to Fluctlight Acceleration.
...I admit, given the way this started, I'm curious about that myself.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Glenn Beck agrees that we'll have full-dive technology within ten years.
Cool
