It's been a week or so since I read the chapter (okay, saw the scans, at least; still can't read Chinese) but it's pretty insulting to call her a rapist. Both in terms of insulting her and in terms of making light of actual rape.

Not really, given that the subject manga's title is shared with its predecessor series of pornographic one-shot comics. It serves a clear and understandable purpose.

So... This video has been released, and has probably resulted in a few metaphorical facepalms at MGU. <sigh>
Do not get me started on the "official" name spellings. For one, the author seems to have changed his mind about Cerea's name spelling. For two, somehow he "mispelled" the word doppelganger as doppelmayr — and no, I have no idea what the latter is, beyond Wikipedia telling that it's nothing but an obscure surname and the name of an organization (and a couple of other things that are named after one of them).

Mero's name being spelled that way makes sense, since it gives a bit more distance between her race and her name . 'Mia' shows a bit of a lack of understanding how long and short vowel sounds are transcribed in English given how her name is pronounced. And Centorea's name... I don't know what the hell he was going for there. I guess it could be some kind of quasi-French pronunciation...?

I hear the raws are already out for several days if not a week or two; high-quality scanlation takes a lot of time, apparently, compounded by the translator's own packed schedule.

Sounds about right. The scans for this usually turn up just before the next chapter gets released in Japanese.
The raws have been out for at least a week or two. Given their last release and the announcement over it, it's not the translations but the redrawing that's giving them trouble. (If it was the translation, I'd have volunteered by now.)
