The original pic is slightly larger, but if I use that, size limitations mean I have to cut edges off, making it less clear it's a book, and I think that hurts the image.

Oh. Can the original still be in image links?

That's pretty good, but there's something about the book that I like better.

That one overlaps with whatever trope we have for technobabble, I think. I prefer the book, really. It's simple and more unusual.

So would anyone strenuously object if I went with the book-cover one?

I don't particularly think the book makes that great an illustration. Funny, yes, but....
