Does Not Illustrate: Corrupt Church

Is there anything wrong with the two Orzhov pics I suggested?

I kinda like the one with the fat dude pointing as someone is grabbed and dragged away. The others I think don't really make the distinction between Corrupt Church, Religion of Evil and Path of Inspiration.

9.1 is my favorite so far. Even if I can't tell what the orange ball things are, its pretty obvious that the central figure is a religious leader, and his nasty looking minions and intimidating guards spell out the "corrupt" part pretty plain. Christianity aside, soapboxing or whatever aside, the other pic suggestions just simply aren't as good. That's all there is to it.

I much prefer the pontiff. The guy being dragged and the fat dude just all spell "corrupt" to me.

The other one looks too abstract or too much like a Path of Inspiration.

It could be a criminal who was being dragged. And the obese aren't always portrayed as corrupt.

Those at the top of the stairs are smirking evilly. Those at the bottom of the stairs look upset.

I think it's fair to say the dude does not look fun or pleasant. And the dude being dragged doesn't look like he's having fun. Not an issue.

Plus the Pontiff has that weird ghostly shape hiding behind him. That kinda says "hidden evil".

For those interested, the weird grey creatures in Orzhov Pontiff's art are thrulls. As Orzhov priests grow older, they use various magics to extend their lives well-beyond what is natural, giving them a grey, bloated, and decaying appearance. Those who rise high enough shed their mortal flesh entirely, becoming part of the ghost council that controls all of the guild. That flesh is reanimated and shaped into servant creatures called thrulls.
