I've tried manually putting a "?action=edit" into the URL after clicking my name, but no matter what I do I always just get the home page displayed. Is there any way to get it so I can get my name as linked on the forums to go to a proper Troper page?

(edit because apparently it's got a false bluelink now or something?)

Underscores can't be part of page URLs on this wiki. Only A-Z, a-z, and 0-9, and it can't start with a digit. So you're stuck with an unreachable troper page unless you create a new handle. Sorry.

You could make Pig Catapult and then manually link people to it, but the auto-link won't work, even if you Custom Title it.

Page titles can't have punctuation in them. To make your page, create it at Tropers.Pig Catapult and use the custom title tool to customize the display to "Pig_catapult". Unfortunately, you're never going to be able to have your user name link to your page; if you want it accessible from your forum posts, you'll have to add a link in your signature.

Edit: Ninja'd.

Also, you won't ever get the underscore to show up in your forum name. People sometimes wonder why I actually use it; I just like to keep a consistent online alias.

Also, look on the bright side - back when I first joined, you couldn't start a page with a number, and a few of my edits were actually credited to _Footsteps. That was weird. And after a while, it just becomes second nature to tell folks that you're actually at a different Troper page than you'd think.

Also, if you want, you can always just put the real link to your Troper page in your signature.
