Was that being evil...isn't that how all restaurant owners act?
Don't pay for the food you dislike and they try to kill your head.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.He is but a humble Ramen chef!
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Humble...is but not the word of choice.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I assume he's still got an empty heart that can find solace in nothing but evil, but he hasn't embraced it because he hasn't had an enlightening conversation with a naked Gilgamesh because this series can't show INTENSE OLDER MAN/NAKED SHOTA sub/con/text.
Oh, he's embraced it. Why do you think he's selling Mapo Tofu?
A truly evil person wouldn't sell it, he'd force it down people's throats.
You mean like what he basically did?

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.But I ordered Beef Ramen?
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Your own fault for not ordering curry like all people of good taste in this universe do. If you did it you'd be okay now.
This episode was so good.
That zasshu.
So did crazy parasol girl meant to say "Yes you do!"...because that would make more sense.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I do like how Ko-Gil has more of an edge in this episode (complete with a shift in hairstyle!) because Angelica dared to use Enkidu against him. Even the sweet kid that is Ko-Gil doesn't tolerate fucking around with the weapon that represents his only friend.
Tanaka sure can take a beating. When she does throw-down, the Ainsworth Clan might get a little worried...
If Angelica didn't have that little trick up her sleeve, Gilgalad would've stomped her into the ground.
"They didn't mean no harm." Didn't look that way to me.
Is it just me or have Kuro and Bazett been in the parallel world for longer than Illya? Maybe I'm overthinking it.
Great action scenes this episode. Pissed off Gilgalad was kickass. Caster!Illya was swell too, though she got demolished by Mjolnir.
Tanaka: ultimate meatshield.
You're actually right. It's that way in the manga.
Holy shit, this anime nailed Darius. He can switch between a bumbling dad, a menacing figure and a Giles-esque creepy bastard on a dime.
Wait... Did they just spoil the big twist about Darius way in advance?

He's not the biggest-bad?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. That he's actually Julian in disguise. When Darius was leaving with Erika, his disguise briefly disappears to reveal Julian from behind before the scene cuts out.
Granted, those who don't know the specific twist will likely be thrown for a loop instead, since Julian's entire existence has yet to be even hinted at.

It was kinda weird, eh? A sudden change like that...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I was hoping for a longer fight scene, but Darius more than established himself as a threat. Fitting that he has his own DIY Noble Phantasms, and he blocked Excalibur with his bare hands! What's the trick? The bumbling dad image is apparently just an illusion too. Hell if I know what he's trying to hide. He kind of looks like Shinji? Holy crap if that's true. Or... Tanaka apparently called him a "counterfeiter", so, uhh, maybe he's not really an Ainsworth, but some entity that's sort of like the condensed will of the Ainsworths? Or someone who just forges "fakes" basically.
Speaking of Tanaka, now I'm really curious about what she is. Ultimate meatshield became ultimate roasted meatshield. Whoever made Tanaka (my guess is that she's a homunculus) must really hate the Ainsworths.
So Darius loves theatrics, eh? That's why he's so good at switching personalities on a dime. He's also a playwright who demands a perfect script.
Yep, Tanaka has a blazing hatred for the Ainsworths. Quite literally.
Oh...visual pun, played serious.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Something about the truth of the world or something like that ._.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!Tanaka is mostly likely a defense mechanism of Gaia created in human form to fight the Ainsworths and prevent them from allowing humanity to outlive her. Remember that Gaia really, really does not like humanity, and the thought of her children outliving her absolutely horrifies her, hence why she calls the Ultimate Ones to eliminate humanity when she perishes sometime before Angel Notes.
Anyhow, new episode. And it's an absolute riot, as expected.

Oh well, an evil troll, certainly. He wouldn't be Kirei without that. He's just not maliciously evil - I mean unless you hate his Mapo Tofu but why would you do that? There's no call to be that rude.
