Suggestion: Characters.Torchwood

Spinoff of the Doctor Who thread to discuss a Doctor Who spinoff.

While personally, I don't mind either way, others have said on that thread that the icon images fall into Only Six Faces, aren't especially distinctive and that, especially for humans, the actors are a part of the characters.

Any suggestions for replacements?

The images there don't even have noses. And they have text within them. Yeah, um, replace, please.

I gather we came to that conclusion, if not on Sherlock, then on Doctor Who's spinoffs on the Doctor Who thread. Sort of why I worded the OP the way I did.

I notice someone's added a few. Not sure about the dimensions of the Gwen image, though. I think the pictures probably suit a head shot better (maybe a cropped version of what's already there?).

Also, anyone else consider them being more thumbnail-y? I dunno, they seem to take up a fair amount of physical space. Personally, I think all of them apart from Jack and Suzie need doing this. Also, the full-body shot of Gwen seems, I dunno, out of place compared to the others?

Personally, I like the icons. They're all the same size, and they're catchy. I vote we keep them, or at least put the icons next to a live-action image.

They don't look like the actual characters, what with the lack of noses.
