That. I'm just filling time.
Then let's wait. Anyway I have to go to bed soon. And FMA is damn addictive...
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundI do have to agree with that last statement. If there was a RP of that here, I'd squeal like a little girl.

FMA RP? Now that'd be KEWL.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundI know, right?
Partially thanks to this RP, I've ended up with an all-consuming desire to play Assassin's Creed: Revelations all the time. Bad Flanker, bad!
Locking you up on radar since '09What exactly is Culex invading now? What ship is it?
On a side note, I would recommend trying to destroy the Crystals quickly.
Culex is going in strong but I'm not going to let him throw out his strongest wave of attacks constantly, the crystals will probably stay more around casting -a than other spells.
Question, are Valkyrie Wings always visible?

He's trying to invade the Andvaranaut.
Well, that was either Bowser's greatest or stupidest plan. Like someone mentioned, he just realised that if he continues trying to invade the ship, he will lose all of his troops and will be defeated.
No, the wings are not.
I would consider retreat if Signum ever gets those wings out, because it'd probably simulate Unison with Agito... which means an AoE fire spell that can take out dozens of robot things in one go.
She has canonical wings, see? XD◊
And a palette swap.

Avatar SourceHows a Demi instead for Signum. :P

Welp, might as well have Ezio (and, presumably once Des gets here, the Lady) get in on the action.
I've already got an escape plan* thought out, so hopefully that shouldn't be too tricky.
Locking you up on radar since '09What the fuck is a Demi. Are you throwing half an orange at me or something? ¬_¬
Avatar SourceGravity spell, takes away 1/4 of your remaining HP. Can't actually kill anyone, but useful in some situations. >.>
Problem: there are no fucking hitpoints in this.
Avatar SourceDemi is a gravity spell. In final fantasy it normally has its own damage formula that ignores defenses. Typically 25% of the target's HP for Demi, 50% for Demiga.
Basically Culex is trying to create a very strong source of gravity at a pin point in the center of Signum.
Yes, I 'know' that mechanics are not entirely relevant. The point of quoting them was to show the concept of the spell.

Yeah, because I can really translate 'random gravitational effects' to words.
You picked the most moronic spell choice possible. =.=
Avatar SourceOkay think of it this way.
Culex trying to make a Black Hole in Signum.
More or less.
Its a traditional Final Fantasy Spell, usually Time Magic but its on my list of Dark Knight spells and fits Culex rather well.

YOU PICKED A SPELL THAT CANNOT BE DODGED, BLOCKED, OR NEGATED AND HAS EFFECTS THAT CANNOT READILY BE DESCRIBED IN WORDS.
FUCK WHAT YOU THINK IS APPROPRIATE, PICK SOMETHING THAT MAKES SENSE. >.<

Avatar SourceYou can do all of those things.
A little magic can stop Demi.
Its not even really that powerful compared to the spells Culex's Crystals have thrown out.
I included a video in my post for those not familiar with it.

'A little magic'.
Oh, right, because that tells me anything.
Your video is a giant flappy thing and a bunch of purple. =.=

Avatar SourceThats it, yes. FF 8, one of the party taking Demi from Diablos and throwing it back in his face.
Magic shields, magic resistance, whatever your choice of defense is. But yes, I did choose it because of its notable irresistability even if its a bit weak.

...Just say that Signum felt heavier all of a sudden and she couldn't move as fast. Since it's a gravity spell, we can assume that it just increases the gravity around her and makes it more difficult to move. >.>
...I'm not entirely sure why a superboss has been sent on a simple raid like this, though, but, um, hurm. I was half expecting Culex to still be in Al Hazard or something with the Emperor and the Book of Darkness. >.<
I know this is hopelessly vague, but I imagine that what he means is that you could resist its' effects with a relatively minor "investment" of magical power.
Anyway, posted. Hopefully that's acceptable, Stratofarius.
Locking you up on radar since '09Culex is with Bowser because they both know eachother beforehand ::shrug::.
I'd give Flame chance to post first. Since she's, y'know, controlling the people who have yet to refuse the chance to surrender permanently. >.>
